  1. Thought as much, I think he's living in a dream world it's as fast as a TVR Tuscan :whistling: yeah if you drive it off a cliff

He also say's all the wheels are in good condition but you can see the n/s front in the pictures and it's the same as most other OEM wheels corroded :whistling:

  2. Sorry to any Chelsea fans but as it's been 20 years since the Hillsborough tradgedy I think it would be fitting for Everton to win the F.A cup, we have already beaten Villa, Borough, and the 1 one team that maybe should of won it before us LIVERPOOL, now we have beaten United we now need to bring the F.A cup back to merseyside, if that's not big enough motivation in the final for the blues then nothing will be. YNWA Justice for the 96. EFC.

  3. :D Sorted :D it's all wired to the shelf light, still left the bulb in there aswell, will decide what to do with it another time probably when it's dark and I can see what they both look like together

Just need a brake light bulb now :whistling:

Glad you've sorted it mate :D so whats next on your list :D

Not 100% sure mate but think the bulbs a 7440 21/5w? Have you had a look at the bulb and if so is it a push in type? :)

Defo push type, will just take one out when I go to get a new one.

Next on list either lowering 40m or induction kit but at the mo both on hold due to money :whistling:

  4. yea i could do, but ive kinda ignored the warning light now lol..

im not sure what your doing with your wiring mate, its a prettty simple circuit, i just connected the red and black wire to the plus and negative of the rear light on the parcel shelf, keep it in parallel with rear buld and they will both work... you cant really get it wrong, if you get it back to front try it the other way around and it should work fine... (thats if the colours arn't clear)

i dont know for what reason your trying to connect the wire to the fog light?

Yeah tried that matey, was earthing it to the fog light, no Chris tbh i've not tried again since yesterday going to go and have another play in a min but i've gotta feeling there's a problem with the light, either it's just broken or the wires been pulled at som stage and disconnected inside the spoiler :crybaby:

Just a thought tho when it came the wires were joined together on the bare end is it possible it's just a live feed using both wires, I really know very little about car wiring so don't if this is possible or not.

  5. Can't get this brakelight to work  knowing my luck it's probably knackered  either that or i'm doing something wrong, scotchlocked it to the green and white wire earthed it to the fog light bolt and nothing swapped the wires round nothing, tried to connect it to the shelf brake light by shoving the wires in with the bulb nothing, think i'll take it my mate who's an auto spark and get him to test it :crybaby:

  6. all you need now is to drop it on some 18's :D then it'll look the nuts

er.... ive got the same spoiler, ive wired it to the centre light on the parcel shelf... and i unplugged the buld from the centre light so i dont have 4 lights light up at the back and i get a brake warning light come up on my dash now. if you leave the rear light in it will be fine...

does anyone know how to get rid of the warnign light from the dash?

Can't you just take the bulb and hide it away underneath somewhere, it'll still light up but won't be visable

  7. Looking very nice mate :D the brake light wire is green with white stripe :winky: you will find it if you remove some of you boot lining, left or right side, you will also have to earth it :D

Cheers Gord, Chris sent me a PM showing the brake light wire so got it pretty much sorted, any idea what to earth it to tho mate

Might be better looking in/on the boot lid its self for that mate, eg, where the fog lights bolt to the boot lid :D

    Cheers Gord.

  8. Looking very nice mate :D the brake light wire is green with white stripe :winky: you will find it if you remove some of you boot lining, left or right side, you will also have to earth it :D

  9. How much was this spoiler? I'm liking this type more and more now. Does it block the rear view much at all?

The spoiler was £60 delivered off e-bay it cost me £40 for spraying and I fitted it myself, it doesn't block the rear view much at all :D

  10. Picked the spoiler up at lunch time and fitted it this afternoon, bit of a pig of of a job and defo needs 2 people to do but it's on and secure, still need to wire it to the brake lights but the hard part is over :D anyone know how to wire the light up to the shelf light?

    Before: :)

  11. Mines painted and ready to collect, but apparently it was a right pig of a job to do, hairline cracks and pinholes all over it so needed abit of filling and stuff, glad it was the missus's uncle who's doing it as it could of gotten expensive, will have a go at fitting it myself over the weekend i've got an idea of how to do it it's just putting it into practice :whistling:

  12. wooohoooo mine arrived this afternoon ,

i was going off the idea thinking it may be a little large but when i hold it up against the boot im certainly loving it again !

It's spot on mate, just really don't want to mess the fitting up and ruin it :whistling:

  13. no way matey, seems binmen really don't give a s :tsktsk: t about peoples property as long as they can get the job done quickly, what would it take to walk around the back of your car an extra minute or two on the day, they really should have more respect, even if it can be polished out that's not the point it shouldn't of happened in the 1st place, muppets

Thats the stupid thing though mate, it took them longer to try and get 10 bins through the tight gap than it wouldve done if they had gone round the back of it? :duh:

Total flippin muppets the pair of them :tsktsk:

Its got to come off again now anyway so may aswell respray it

That's even worse mate it's like they've done it on purpose

Are you taking it off just because of this or is there another reason, i'd defo want some sort of compo.

No mate it wants a respray due to some soft kid on a skateboard coming off the pavement infront of me a few weeks ago, and i ended up swerving to miss him and caught the skirt on the kirb so scuffed it :crybaby:

Felt like i should of squashed the little sod after the mouthfull he came out with! :whistling:

I'd still see if you could get someone else to fork out for it, threaten the council with legal action and see what they say.

  14. Defo bolting it on even if I have to do it myself, doesn't really matter if it's wonky does it :whistling::lol:

You could maybe get away with 1 bolt at either end and use the glue aswell mate, as there should be 2 bolt holes at either end of the spoiler? And if you drill the holes near the boot lip it could probably be covered up with a smaller spoiler if you do ever decide to remove it?

Just pm'd you aswell mate about the templates :D

Cheers mate i've got a plan for doing it, just replied to your pm :D

Sounds like a plan mate :whistling: before you drill though i'd put some masking tape where your drilling so it helps stop the drill bit from slipping :)

Cheers matey will do that :D
