    Hi all Don't know if this has been covered before , I have a 2005 rx300 with 85k under her belts, bought a month ago from the auction , car drives the biz , took her to mates (dave) for full service inc auto box oil change , plugs etc while up on ramps , noticed a fine mist of oil on and around the rear diff , Dave phoned his mate at Lexus chester for the oil seal and was told it's such a common failing that they always stock new diffs . The seal fails , oil disappears , diff heats up and bang :-( so check yours soooon . Seal is only just over a tenner plus fitting . Jon .

    Hi all Just had my rx300 back from F1 alloys in chester , Cheshire ! Cracking job , tyres off , acid bath repair and paint ! £300 for all wheels , hubs and calipers painted , even lent me a car :-) Jon

    Hi Need 4 wheel centres for my 2003 onwards , standard 18" wheels , does anybody know what part number or if they fit other Lexus's or if anybody has some , drop us a line ..... Must be as new though :-) Jon

    Hi The dealer is owned by one man called mark Mitchell (he also has skoda and Mazda on the same site) he is a bit of a religious family man who believes that family's should spend at least one day together , brave move as it must cost him business , well in fact it did , it cost him the mitsi dealership years ago , may have been a blessing as he then got lexus Jon

    Cheers for replys , it's always good to get opinions from real users . Your right a test drive is the only way to find out , the trouble is my local dealer , lexus Chester (although spot on , as used before for service etc) are shut on Sundays and that's the only day my missus and myself can get there in daylight .     Hi pondering at a is250 , but being a farther of a 18 month old , my worry is boot space for a pram etc , having a missus who collects buggys like new shoes . we have a quinny buzz and a maclaren stroller type . how do all you cope ? is it a easy fit ? I know i need to try for fit , but i thought i would ask first . is there enough room for the kid in the back ? Jon ps - Daft question is there isofix connectors in the back (car i would look at would be a early one 55 plate up)

    Hi Nice one , whats the going rate for discs and pads + what about the tyres , is it best to put on OE or are there better options ? to be fair the car will be well treated and not used hard for 95% of its life as missus is the main user , so grip on the max is not as important as it is for some . Having been a lexus owner (on and off) for the last 7/8 years , i am thinking about a is-f (second hand) simple question .... what do i look for ? squinted through the forum , but sometimes its best to ask . car will be under 40k mileage and will be one of the first ones in the country Cheers Jon

    Would you be able to post the bumper protector at all? Could do with one, but have to weigh up that the trip to Chester and back would probably make going to the local dealer more cost effective.
