    any luck auzie_mb ? the car is still for sale and it meets what you what to pay/mileage/colour/spec . as for insurance i use - www.privilege.co.uk they were the cheapest for me . good luck and keep us posted :P

    hi , i got mine last week from "fords of winsford" (www.fow.co.uk) they are based in cheshire and most of the time they have 1200-1500 cars in stock their sevice leaves alot to be desired (pile high sell cheap) but they are much cheaper than the main dealers mine is a se,1 owner 99 (dec) on a "v" with 35k and a full lexus history its in the silver ice colour with the half leather apart from a load of glass in my rear speakers (all sorted now thanks to the clever people here) its been a dream and the price £12.5k . so give em a whirl ...........................jon

    i asked you lot about my buzzy rear speakers a couple of days ago . well i have found out why . the back window has been smashed at some time and there are tiny bits of glass around the speakers (the lip between the mesh top and the surrond that says "lexus" at the back) and some tiny pieces must have fallen in to the cones (hence the buzzy sound , dead annoying ). what i need to know off you clever people :P is how an earth do you get the mesh off so i can clean the cones . i have tryed to hoover them but the angle of the glass means i can`t get the nozzle in . cheers............................jon .

    :D picked up my is 200 se today WWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOWWWW what a top , top motor the only thing is the rear speakers buzz (distort,sounds like paper being crushed) with the volume less than 1/4 :( even with the bass on - 4 and the fader +4 to the front . i do listen to dance music which is a bit heavy but i was expecting better than this . can you help if not do you know of a good set of replacements .many thanks................................jon

    picking mine up this thursday 16/01/03 (from fords of winsford for £12,699). is 200 se in silver with black leather only done 35k with history by lexus . wheels were pitted and they have replaced them so the car is spot on . i even got the name of the first owner (and only owner) and contacted him to make sure my buy is ok before i bought her . so only 4 days to go !!!!! :D
