  13. hi mate welcome to LOC just up the road from me in Maghull anyway to answer your question there will be little difference once on the motorway, maybe 2 mpg, hardly noticable, and imo its worth having the v8.

  16. haha, is ures a premium pack? if it is there are really not many more gadgets on the 04? but if u insist there is one going for 8.7k on the trader 165.000 on the clock. why not upgrade you`re wheels?
  17. hi mate, welcome to LOC Mine is the same, i raised the question with a Lexus technician and he told me they can be opened by pressing unlock but cannot be closed using lock there is one other way however and that is : retract the actual key from the fob, insert it into the door lock and twist 2 lock hold it and everything will start to shut. Still means going over to the car though! hope this helps. he did give me a reason why they have not enabled the feature but not sure what it was now thanks Anuj
  18. sorry 4 ure loss mate, couldnt see the pics though? Lmao at haylands.
  19. hi mate, firstly welcome to LOC, and looking at your display pic, nice car. cant help too much with the parking sensors. but if you really want to fit the parking sensors yourself, why dont you convince your other half, that she owns the other half, and you can do what you want to the back? also, where are the scratches on the car, if they are on the bumper, ask a bodyshop to fit the sensors and repair the scratches, also, have you tried polishing the scratches out, as they dont sound too bad from you`re description. Anuj
  20. yep, just try not 2 do short distance journeys, as this does not help, if u can just take it out on the motorway when ure next free, get it up2 motorway speeds and just generally give it a run, it will help recharge it. ive also decided to keep a set of jumpleads in the spare wheel well just in case, not needed them yet however, touch wood.
  21. hi mate, i had exactly the same problem, and it is definitly ure battery. it has happened a few times now, first time was the first day we got the car, messing around withthe electrics with just the ignition on, not good, then after that was when the ignition was left on all night!!! i borrowed one of them £5 battery chargers from a neighbour and put it on charge over nite, not a problem since
