What am I checking for... or how do I check?? sorry ... not a car wizz... jack the front of the car up grab the front wheel(hands at quarter to three) and shake it from side to side and see if their is any play.if the car has suffered from a sized caliper and the disk has got really really hot the hub could be warper(it 's a problem i see on some supras)i work for toyota.just a thought. Thanks for that... Well i have changed all 4 discs and pads,.. and still have the problem... and like Flexus... Im not gettin it all the time... only at certain speeds... heres hoping a dont have to go through too many expenses as a method of elimination...

  5. Hi, And welcome... Ive not been messaging here long... but im really hoping someone replies as Ive developed the same problem... Had the discs and pads changed.. wheels balanced... brakes all flushed and calipers checked... and still vibration.... and its strange.. as sometimes it doesnt vibrate at all....I find it vibrate most under brkaing and again at certain speeds... Sorry I cant be helpful.. although Im certain I did read a post where im sure someone said they had vibration through the steering due to ball joints.. Hope someone can give a more definite answer...
  6. haha... so ive seen... But it had the same harness number that most talked about on here... PC... blah blah... i cant remember it now... but it was the exact number talked about on here for an x reg and it said lexus is200 amp bypass harness on the box... so.... it was a straight connection... they had just wired the ACC incorrectly.. But in saying if you can find one thats a guarrantee plug and play... BUY IT... I did contact them about the harness error... they claimed that it was never an issue before...
  7. The lead I got for my sport model was from Autoleads... Though a point to remember should you get one similar to mine... they have installed 2 wires in the harness, labeled and coloured as "memory".... They are crimped into the same crimp at the radio end of the autoleads harness, but in separate crimps at the amp end of the harness... which doesnt make sense... Having been given a link to wiring diagrams from here (thanks again Aztecbandit!)... I saw that one of the so called "memory" wires in the harness, which connects to a grey wire from the amp connector on the car, is actually the ACC... so its necessary to cut this wire out at the car amp connector end of the autoleads harness and crimp the grey wire from the cars amp connector separately with the ACC wire from the radio harness which you recieve with your radio... Otherwise you'll be waking up to a flat battery like me as the power from the genuine memory wire returns up through the incorrectly connected ACC on the Autoleads harness, into the ACC and powers a load of systems on the car.... I hope it doesnt sound too confusing but I think if you have the Autoleads harness to hand and look at the cars amp connector, it will make sense. Appologies if it does...
  8. Cool... not too long to wait now... though feels like an eternity!
  9. Well to be honest doubt it will be dyno´d before being s/c as ill be driving over from France directly to Steve.... but i mean its standard... and although every engine might be slighty different in how it performs.. i honestly cant see a major dispute to the performance (or lack of... but hoping NOT the case) being down to the engine. But im new to this so maybe im way off the mark!
  10. Might just see you mate, as the 10th is one of my days off :D unless thay wanting me to work overtime :duh: Cool....well guess ill be seeing you there then! Yeah, pretty sure it is that intercooler... we´ll see what it comes out like with the TTE.... afterall... it is just the start! :winky:
  11. Hi all.... Well my car goes to Steve on the 10th november for the Lysholm supercharger install...... Will post pictures and all the data possible for the project...... High hopes!! Along with the s/c will be fitting..... TTE coilovers Prolex manifold HKS silent high power TTE intercooler
  12. Thanks alot for the diagrams... Its a grey cable from the original amp connector that is the ACC on the 8 speakers sports model.. The harness i got had the acc and the memory joined together at the radio end... so i just cut what i hoped was the acc and connected it to the radio harness´s acc and hey presto.... it worked... with no other systems powered with the key removed... Thanks again... I hope i dont wake up to a flat battery though!!
  13. Yeah, when i remove the new harness from the original amp connector... the problem is gone... anyone know what colour wire is the memory wire (constant power) on the original connector to the amp.. and if there should be 2wires used for memory?
  14. There is no button to turn the unit on and off.... thanks to the brains behind the makers.... but no... it turns off with the ignition... the harness for the amp had no ACC cable in it... so when i called the place i bought all from they told me to connect to a system which turns off with the ignition so i connected the ACC wire to the air con.... (both 10amps) however... even with the ACC wire disconnected from the a/c the mirrors are stil live so its to do with the aftermarket harness for the amp... (i think)...Why is there 2 wires live all the time from the original loom which goes to the amp??
  15. The harness is from caraudiosecurity. The ACC is separate, and the unit does hold the memory. But seems to be keeping other systems powered... Is there any other connectors I should have disconnected from the amp, or just the large one that I join to the aftermarket harness??
  16. Well when I bought the headunit I also bought a harness which i connected the connector from the back of the OE amp... and since then the battery has been draining... the mirrors never worked without the key, before i installed the radio... On the harness theres 2 separate wires (yellow) for the memory on the end which connects to the amp harness.. They are then crimped together and go into the radio connector on one crimp... (yellow)... is that normal?? The radio has no power without ACC so i am totally confused as to why the mirrors have power.... and the battery draining.. I have no amps connected... just the headunit.
  17. Hey,.... wondering if anyone can help... Ive instlled the Pioneer F900 using the autoleads bypass harness, but now my electric mirrors are always powered... even without the key in the ignition... and its draining my battery all the time.... Anyone any ideas why this is.... Thanks..
  18. OK.... really need help?? Is there no ACC wire in the connector from the amp that you join to the bypass harness??? If there isnt has anyone any idea where is easy access to connect the radio´s ACC wire Thanks...
  19. well I wouldnt go banking on that being the price for ALL including ALL fitted.... I never said it would hence asking for a price awe ok... didnt quite get what you were saying.... well ive no genuine figure even as to what im payin yet.. as its not certain what will be included in the final build... trail and error to a point i guess
  20. No i bought an autoleads version.... but on a further inspection just realised... it doesnt have an ACC line in the harness.. If i swap the cables and put the ACC on the MEMORY wire.. works without a problem... but the brains at pioneer didnt put an OF switch on the headunit... which detroys that idea... how crazy is that.... anyone know what wire on the cars harness is the ACC so i can add a wire to the connector?? Also what the hell is a vehicle injection computer and where is it?? Thanks.
