Gold members can save around 15%, more in some cases depending on the dealer.

I can see your in dublin Wayne , We only have Belfast as UK dealers only on our list.

However, lexus do have some servicing offers normally on their website.

Lexus Reading wasn't having any discounts as they claim the service is 'fixed' cost any other things they want to rip you off on that isn't fixed cost, then they can 'consider' the Lexus discount.

You paid what? £115 for an air con refresh? Mine price match within 5 miles so I get it done for £60.

Tried to barter mate.. However cost of aircon gas has tripled and my mate who is a HVAC specialist would charge me 80 quid.. so for the sake of 35 extra, if anything is iffy Lexus will have the responsibility.. The car is serviced for the sake of the existing warranty.

Yeah thats me, cheers Andrew, how much did lexus charge for the new assembly? All i needed was the cap so i couldnt justify spending silly money. I have the assembly (less the cap obviously) if anyone ever needs one. Oh and the scuff plates look great too!!!

For the complete switch I was looking at around 160 quid which I had no choice as you can see some monkey at lexus broke the trim and couldn't get seperately. Glad you got it sorted

  5. For a defined part number use Lexus EU Tech docs, enter VIN number and goto the EPC section. This should verify the part numbers. (Have to pay to have access)

Then goto Amayama.com and check the price - shipped from JPN is around £200 quid - then you have the pleasure of Parcelfarce UK charging VAT and handling. Still cheaper than UK prices..

Part number for my fsport WITH seat memory (2016 reg) is image.png.fa6ef9649be2a856f241f286d4412bde.png

  6. Part was £20 that was the whole assembly.. I believe I sold Adrian this part lol.. I bought a brand new assembly as someone from Lexus (prior buying this ex demo car) superglued a thin part of the trim as it was removed incorrectly.. it bugged me and was too late to point it out when I bought the car cos I didn't notice it.. D'oh

See the connection?? lol.. Yep twas me bought it in Jan.. Never programmed it as my buddy at the same time bought one for his.. His pairing failed despite Techstream bonging away saying it did.. Then I dug a little further about frequencies and searching Denso's certification for RTTE for Europe.

So yeah its me.. *sigh*  Oh well as I say crap happens lol

Nice key card but then where do you put your house keys - I keep car key and house keys on the same key ring so never forget one or the other...!

I keep my house keys when at work in my drawer, so just the car key will stay on my person during the day. If me and the wife are out together of course the house keys are in her handbag lol

  9. Ahoy!

I really like the Lexus Key Card from other models and decided to take the plunge of obtaining an 'EU' Version for the IS300H. Paired it up with Techstream and 2 minutes later process finished and it works! I'll be brave and say how much and yes there maybe haters out there that its a waste of money etc but I like it. (about £400 quid) - Yes it doesn't have buttons and yes you cannot turn off the transmitter signal to avoid cloning but its slim and fits in my suit pocket.

    Part Numbers are
    89904-53601 - Card (2014 onwards MY) 89904-53600 for MY13-14

69515-30350 - Blank metal key - A competant car key cutter can replicate it

NB. US market and JPN Market DOES not work so don't be tempted by price. They run on a 315MHZ frequency and UK/EU/Most parts of the world runs on 433MHZ due to bandwidth licensing laws.

Ah fair enough, looks good though! Dare I say I think I may prefer your one. My £20 arrived on Saturday and looks to be genuine with stamps underneath and seals along the edging. Unfortunately it's painted in F-sport white whilst I have sonic titanium but from the price you've said, I got a bargain.

Did you get the complete kit? as I believe the spoiler comes with new boot springs to compensate the weight. rear high level light cover and of course the all important template to drill!

    Hey,

Really nice car and the first one I've seen with the spoiler. Out of interest, is the spoiler a genuine Lexus item and how much are they? I'm only asking as I've recently bought a genuine one for £20. The Lexus catalogue doesn't give a price and curious.

Also in regards to fitting, did you stick it down or bolt it?

Its a genuine spoiler, but for the US market. If the UK one its in excess of 600 quid.. Slightly different styling. So £20 what you paid if genuine is a bargain

  12. From a Product Management perspective deciding to scrap a product contains some certain factors:

    • ROI - Return on Investment - Is the product profitable in that particular country/market i.e worth doing with all the Marketing campaigns etc factored in
    • Sell out  figures- obviously this is very important - to gauge again whether its worth continuing your product OPEX costs etc
    • SWOT - Analysis , Strengths, Weakness Opportunities and Threats - Again, Scrapping the 200T and introducing a 300, 350 etc - is it viable vs other Petrol competitors (Probably not)
    • 3 Year Strategy - This is already set in stone in Japan for the UK - So scrapping IS200T was more than likely on the cards for a very long time
    • Did the IS200T do well in Japan ? We are only a handful of countries in the world that are RHD that has a viable market. If a collective figure is way below forecast, they need to cut their losses and scrap it as not making money is not on their agenda!
    • Making these cars take alot of planning - If its not making the company money then there is no point in making it. Focus manpower and increase production on a line that is far more good selling and again - Profitable...
    • Know your market - Does the UK audience/consumer require an IS300/350 big petrol engines? again probably not...

Thats what I would do anyway ...

  13. I seriously doubt if they just fell off as they are clamped with 2 horseshoe clips on the other side of the bumper (as I have taken this apart when I fitted colour coded covers) and also the JET clips inside of the cover AND then clips to the actuator.

See attached pic for you to have a better understanding..  PS ...part numbers are for the F Sport as I believe the non Fsport although look the same has a different part number. Cost is around 8 quid + vat each (per side) - However please check whether the Jet/Actuator isn't damaged and the clamps are still intact. This means bumper off I'm afraid..
