    m3 is a crap veichle ...period ... way too manyu problems with that car, my mate has one constant problems and emptying the wallet problems or no problems the M3 cant be described as crap ! it is a fantastic piece of machinery, that everyone, including Lexus have tried to emulate.........and failed ! I think the problem is BMW = lots of go making in right car Lexus = First go Maybe the next one will be better ;)

    I wouldnt buy the pertols, as like you say engine issues 90k Miles FMDSH 2.0 D4D T3 But I am alittle confused if it is the 90BHP, 110 HP or the 116BHP. The engine is an 1CD-FTV which iam sure is the same in the mark 2 avensis! What I would like to do is install a diesel performance chip but i need to know which engine it is!

    Nothing is at fault the IS200 has this problem ... :P Its a feature

    That depends.. If the car is daily driven.. then a lighter flywheel would make the car require more revs to set off

    Another picture. I have decided to buy the car back Due to one reason 1- Brand New Battery (70£) 2- 60£ fuel in car 3 - £130 stereo I have bought the car back of insurer.

    My car is a 1999 V reg 80k Miles FSH (lexus and Lexus Doncaster based firm) I was in manchester for short term, I am now live in wakefield :) (near leeds) I dont have the car, the insurance people have the car. THe only bad point was the alloys, (needed refurb) Had that acutually booked in as well! to fix What should it be worth ? I cant remmber what i paid for it

    ok Insurance told me car is Cat C. They valued car at 3.5k they said if i buy it back they want 500£ Question is how much would it cost to fix?

    I will find out tommrow, But my understanding was that Jig work would only be needed if the crash bar on the front was broken/snapped the way the car has hit, its hit over the crash bar.

    OMG! I was on the M62 yesterday about 4:30ish and I drove past (at the legel limit :)) a green IS200 parked up on the hard shoulder with a smashed up front, was that you? I think the reg of the car ended in RAR. I was driving back to Ilkley (near Leeds) from Runcorn. Sorry to see this mate- at least you and your passengers are ok- the car can be replaced. That was me buddy.

    i think i paid 4.5k for it for LSH ive had it for about 1 year and 6 months. I dont know what its worth :( I am on the hard sholder, making the phone call.

    Maybe I could buy it back as cat D ? no airbagsdeployed , seatbelts ok Only thing i can assume, i was braking so heavy to avoid him that the car had dipped enough to hit the under of his rental van.

    car was 100% standard. I know its a write off as it needs front bumper 2 wings grill radiator pipes timing belt cover 2 lights 2 fogs bonnet and braces for lights and stuff. But ... me and 2 other people were in the car, and were unhurt. we all walked away. I can only thank god that my car did its job and protected us all. car had full service hstory and only 80 k on the clock
