    actually not all generic units are bad ;) I bought a unit of ebay, about 3 years ago. paid 80£ for it, and its still going strong. I opened the unit inside, and it was using sony parts and panasonic gears. so do discount all of them. I plan to buy another cheap unit for my lexus. it has a GPS reciver.

    I have a question, - If i want to use an external Amp to power the front speakers. and make them show a 4ohm load.. Will I need to run new wires to the speakers ? (I am sure I read somewhere that the amp bypass cable keeps the orginal impedance of the speakers.)

    .. Hello I am looking for a STOCK power versus the TTE Supercharged engine. I know what the increases are, but I am more intrested in where the increases are felt. Ie lower down the rev range. If any one has any DYNOS - Would apreciate it Thanks.
