    hi guys, the seat on my is220d is starting to ware out causing the join in the stiching to split. will lexus give me a new drivers seat as the car is only 12 months old and i have only done 19,000 miles. :tsktsk:

    But how would i get the letter if i am purchasing from Stratstone(not Lexus dealer) i will be the second owner so would it be better i call Lexus Birmingham and ask what has already been done on the car as the service book just shows 1 dealer stamp for 1st service if your car is still in the 3 year warranty bracket,just take it to any lexus dealer and ask,they will change it under the conditions of the warranty

    yeah i have noticed it when i press the start button to get the radio on (without starting the car)and when i turn the engine off as well !!

    mine is going in on thurs, i will ask them to look at it. i think the noise is the fuel pump,but i might be wrong

    you say buzzing noise? is it coming from the radio console in the middle of the car,when i turn my 220d of there is a slight buzzing noise come from the radio area.maybe it's something to do with the engine turning off (like the immobilizer setting it's self)

    as far as i am aware they are recalling them for this fault as i received a letter stating that it was a known fault,and it would be rectified when each car goes in for their service

    hi just to let anybody know.i put my is 220d in for a service last week.and got told that there is a recall/upgrade for the rear brake discs and pads this has resulted in them changing them for a new set under the 3 year warranty policy also had the 5th injector replaced and rear view mirror vibration sorted(this was all done by lexus chester)

    hi i have an is 200d se-l and i am very happy with mine i am getting 41.2 tank avg at the moment and i never use it on the motorway.i have never had any issue,s with it and think it,s one of the best cars i have owned. this is my first diesel and i am more than happy

    i would agree 100% i had a new volvo s40 t5 se and all i had was trouble with it,in the first 6 months i had 2 new drive shafts fitted,and the service at the dealer in liverpool was garbage,since then i now own an is220d se-l and i am more than happy with the car and the service off lexus chester is a1

    hi guys i would like some advice,i have a 2006 is 220d with 18,500 miles on the clock. and everytime i brake i get a very light squeaking noise from the brakes ,but it stops when i don,t brake (obviously),i have checked the pads and disc,s on all the wheels and they all seem in good condition :question:

    yeah there actually my wheels what are for sale on there ha,ha,i am actually in need of the 17"se/sport ones to go back on my 220

    I've got some 17" OEM's off my 250 SE-L, with Bridgestone Potenza's that have done a total of 4,500 miles that you can have for a reasonable price. if you have still got the alloys mate i will take them off you now
