  1. Ordered my 450 in December and took delivery in June. I went in a week before delivery to sort the paperwork and they honoured the price and gave me an additional 1k for my car.
  2. I don't to be honest Malcolm, which ever it was they have to leave the cover off to fit the piggy back connector. Made an awesome job of the fitting, looks part of the car. I dare not tackle it to be honest and I think the next base system costs that just to buy. I think they use two fuses, one permanent live and one switched - tells the cameras when you are parked to change mode.
  3. Interesting, my dealer told me that both protection pack and tow bar were fitted at Derby but they would deliver with one or both missing for later fitment at dealership. As it happened the car came with both fitted. Only thing I had fitted at the dealership was front and rear dashcams - both for £375, which I thought was good value. I recall him saying there were supply issues with the mud flaps at the time but they would take the car and fit them later if required.
  4. Progress Ian, when you say 'On it's way' is that 'Left the factory' or 'In Transit'? I think I didn't get anything between it leaving the factory and arriving at Portbury - could be here sooner than you think.
  5. Wouldn't worry about it Rob. My NX was much the same, at least two weeks at that status. I would guess it will change to 'Left the Factory' any day now.
  6. Auto Sun due at Portbury tomorrow evening - 3 weeks at Derby - you never know 22/7 at dealer maybe. Fingers crossed the Bay of Biscay isn't too choppy tonight lol
  7. I seem to recall that mine sat at 'Left the Factory' until about a month later when it changed to 'In Transit - Portbury'
  8. Finally managed to get some photos. Had it around 3 weeks now but done very few miles. Absolutely loving the car, brilliant drive, very quiet and comfortable - I came from a SQ5 so was worried I would miss the performance - shouldn't have been, performance is very impressive. Sorry I can't comment on economy, it came with a full tank and still has a full tank. I've charged it twice and as my mileage is mainly local, it never runs the engine. I am keen to get a few miles on the engine before any long motorway trips so have been trying to flatten the battery, proving more difficult than I anticipated. Battery just reached 30% and the engine has just started to kick in, although I only know by looking at the dash. Still waiting to hear back about the wall box charger but to be fair the included charger comfortably charges the car overnight. I was surprised to find that it came with heated rear seats, I thought they had been dropped. Loving the black seats by the way, they are more grey to be fair and I figured they would be a more practical choice with kids in the car. Had hazel in two RX's which did start to look grubby - easily cleaned though. Don't remember what lead me to think that it came with card and digital key, it doesn't (450h+ F Sport Takumi). I did get a speed limiter, which I wasn't anticipating. Works really well as the limiter pretty much adjusts the speed according to the speed limits picked up by either the nav or road signs, just requires a button press to acknowledge the change. Heads up is brilliant as are the steering wheel controls, 14in infotainment system and digital rear view mirror. Lexus Hull made a great job of fitting the front and rear dash cams which came at a very reasonable £375 in fact, the service was first rate from start to finish. I already feel this is going to be one of my favourite cars to date.
  9. I'm guessing the text says In Transit Derby - in my experience, this meant it was at Derby and sat at that status for close on to a month. The journey from Derby to the dealership happened so quickly that I knew the car was there before the app had updated.
  10. My NX was there for close on to a month. Depends a lot on what extras need fitting there I think - some are in short supply.
  11. Yep, my car was showing in the app within a couple of days of ordering. I did nothing other than log in to the app. I already had a My Lexus account from a previous purchase, not sure it that helped. It was the first time of using the Lexus Link app.
  12. As far as I recall the app is linked to your order via your email address. You have to register the app using the same email address that your dealer used when placing the order.
  13. Just shy of a month for mine Ivan. Only extras were protection pack and tow bar. Arrived without tow bar but has since been fitted at dealers. Just arrived back from collecting it.
  14. Most of it from Marinetraffic.com Bill. Google maps suggests that a certain area at Nagoya is the Toyota Quay so I just watched vehicle carriers that berth there. Not much help to be fair as they stop at other ports enroute so the destination of the ships is never set to Portbury. If you click on the anchor at Portbury you can see which vessels are due in the coming days and clicking the ships name in that list tells you what type of vessel it is, just a bit of fun to be honest. Autosun and Grande Napoli at Portbury right now.
