  1. Take a look here and make a calculation http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/83992-wheel-spacer-thickness/ Sounds like a really tight setup.
  2. Hi, this might be a silly Q, is the altezza equipped with rear foglights and a button for them? Cause if you remove that button the lowbeam and front fogs dont work either.
  3. LSD oil in an axle without LSD works just as good as the oil without the extra aditive (spelling) do, so to be safe buy the LSD oil. If you fill an LSD axle with oil that don´t have that aditive it will make a very bad noise when turning. When I worked as a Toyota mechanic our workshop only had the LSD oil, we used it in all cars, Castrol SAF-XJ. Today that oil is named, Syntrax Limited Slip 75W-140
  4. Colour is important if we are talking about Toyota coolant. Red is long life, Pink is super long life. Both are ethylen so you can mix them how you want, and when its mixed in the coolingsystem it can be pretty darn hard to see the difference between red and pink. As long as you guys don´t mix Ethylen and Propylen there are no dangers, cause that can end up like a thick goo in your system.
  5. The colour is not the most important, its if you have Ethylen or Propylen, cause both of them can be found in green, blue, red/pink and yellow. Toyota longlife anti-freeze are Ethylen and is red/pink.
  6. That will be just under the limit to hit the fenders both in front and rear when running over big bumps and so. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/83992-wheel-spacer-thickness/
  7. Easy to calculate by your self :outforcount: Rear standard ET55 and 7,5inch wide plus 20mm spacer= ET 35 7,5inch = 190,5mm 190,5/2 = 95,25mm 95,25-35 = 60,25mm Clearance to standard fender in the rear is 68mm, so you have almost a centimeter of clearance to your fender. From my.is Forum.
  8. You can split the plastic thing with a flathead screwdriver that holds the rubber to pull it out, just buy a new rubber at Toyota, doesn´t cost much. Same principal on all Toyota/Lexus wagons. I made a image for you :outforcount:
  9. Good to hear that you "fixed" your problem Tony :winky: I worked as a Toyota/Lexus technician between 2004 and 2009 so I have experienced alot of "fake" failures and customers who described many strange symptoms on their cars. Just knowing the basics and how stuff works makes it much more easy to diagnos :winky: I´m Swedish btw so sorry for my schoolenglish :zee:
  10. It´s two separate pumps, the headlight washerpump is a highpressure type, and the one for the window is just a normal one. One more silly question, is there enough fluid in the tank? Cause when my level is low the headlights do not get any spray, only the window, that pump is lower in the tank I guess.
  11. Almost 100 people who viewed this topic now and nobody with a Xenon IS200/300 modelyear 2004 or 2005 who knows what headlights they have? ;)
  12. Hi, no I´m not gonna ask if a IS300 xenon headlight fits a IS200 with Halogen as 90% of all topics involving Headlight do. First of all, I´m from Sweden, so any partnumbers for your cars don´t work for me LHD cars here :winky: . I´m simply wondering about the IS300 headlights, what years and so have what tint, I have a 2002 IS300 Sportcross, imported from Germany, It has the darker chromed taillights but normal chromed headlights, for the moment I run with Eagle-eyes, the black ones that can be found on Ebay, I bought them cause my standards had burned reflectors, but the output and beam pattern really sucks, so now I´m gonna order new standards at Toyota. So if I want the darker standard ones, I should order from either a 2004 or a 2005 model? I have tried to find out what year have what types, but its hard to tell on photos in ads at the internet. And searching with partnumbers from Toyodiy don´t give much on google or Ebay. I have read somewhere that there was matte bronze finish and a dark chrome on the last models. Somebody with some info on this?
