  1. Hi everybody, I've currently got the TTE supercharger kit installed on my IS, and I'm thinking about selling it. Unfortunatly, I can't seem to find the cast iron flange that bolts on the throttle body in order to install the original air filter box. Does anyone have a picture of theirs? I've contacted a guy that sells parts from a scrapped car, and need to send him a picture. Or maybe someone in here has one in spare that they want to sell? Thanks in advance! Best regards Fredrik
  2. I live in Norway and here it is every second year. Wouldn't the 02 levels in the exhaust change because of HKS FCD? Fredrik
  3. Hi guys. The case is that I have an IS200 with the TTE supercharger kit installed. It is now time for getting what I'm guessing that you call an MOT in the UK. Where a certified Auto Shop has to approve my car for two more years according to the EU regulations. So i have a supercharger kit installed with the HKS FCD. Are there any easy ways to get it approved without removing the supercharger kit completely. What I need is basicly to get the correct emmisions on the test. Tried to remove the supercharger yesterday and just run it by taking in air from the intercooler piping after the charger. Just installed a filter. The car runs, but i get a fuelcut at 3000 RPM. Have also removed the FCD. Im guessing that the car is not running correctly since the air filter box is not connected? So that the air mass transmitter is not getting the correct signals? Are there any sillione hoses that can be used to connect the air filter box directly to the intercooler pipe? Or can i just install the supercharger again and then force open the bypass valve without the drive belt installed? Will that work just like an unboosted car? Regards Fredrik
  4. Hi, I'm interested, but I live in Bergen, Norway. Would you be able to ship it? Fredrik
  5. Would you be able to do the cut outs on a thin piece of carbon fiber Jason? Think that would look real neat.
  6. supercharger arrived.. Now i just have to get home!

  7. I would think that the problem is that you've not sealed it good enough. You can either split it open again, and supply with Tec7 or something. Or you can just try to seal it with tec7 or something simmilar around the edges.
  8. Since the engine on my tilt function has stopped working, I need a new left wing mirror. Tried to contact several ebay sellers, but none of them have the type with electric folding function.
  9. Looks great mate.. Where did you get the bumper, and how much did it set you back?
  10. How do you want us to pay this? Dimis: Did you get the TTE compressor dial kit? How much was it? Thinking about getting one of those myself now.

  13. 10 Fredrico, 99 mod is200, says XE-02 on the dash. I'm in for the rising sun background.
  14. I am in aswell. Have a '99 is200. I believe I have a XE 01, but I can confim it on friday. Want the rising sun.
  15. 3200 £ is a bit too steep for me. About 2000-2300 is okey.
  16. I've considered it, but never gotten any further. A supercharger kit is a lot more simple when selling the car and so on. Where could you get that from then?
  17. Personally I think that the TTE, Legana and C-West are the best looking kits. But all of them are quite expensive.
  18. Right behind the battery, you should have a hole in the wall where there is some wires going trough. Of course there is a rubber thingy there to seal of. I just made a small hole in it so that i managed to pull the power cable through, and then used sillicone around it to be sure that nothing leaks through. Then I layed the power cable under the covers in the doorstep all the way back and removed the rear seats, there are holes there where you can pull the cable trough.
  19. Is it possible to do one of these again soon?
  20. If you want to be real hardcore, then go for a battery that matches your air intake. Braille carbon fiber battery ;)
  21. Allready talked to an importer who can have a car in good condition delievered here for about 4500 £. Another problem here in norway is registering JDM RHD cars. So my best bet is to convert my IS200 I think. If it's worth all the hasse is another thing, but I must admit that my IS is one of the best cars I've ever driven, even though it is 11 years old.
  22. Why the 3sGE? its not that good, just put a 3SGTE like mine in, fits with ease and you get turbo fun. The Down pipe for the exhaust on both engines is in exactly the wrong place for a LHD car so thats the 1st issue, next is electrics although if you go for a 3SGE I assume an Altezza ECU would sort out 80% of the issues?? You will need an Altezza gearbox bell-housing as it is different to the IS200's and alter your prop-shaft. won't be an easy conversion but possible. The reason for this is that I want to re-register my car as an Altezza instead of an IS200 and do it the legal way. My plan is to buy an Altezza and swap engine and drivetrain. I assume that the bodyshell is the same except for LHD/RHD, so that all brackets and so on is bolt on in my IS200?
