    Maybe in the UK, but not in Norway ;) I believe we have the highest car prices in Europe. Just to paint the picture; I payed 16400£ for my 1999 IS200 about a year ago.

    Hi I've thought about buying myself a 3SGE Beams engine that is standard in the Altezza and install it in my IS200. Does anyone here have any experiences with that swap? The problem is that my car is a LHD since i live in Norway. All Altezzas are RHD, so i think there might be a problem with the steering and maybe the brake and clutch reservoir. That they will come in the way. Does the Beams fit straight in? Is it the same gearbox on the IS200 and altezza? Both are six-speed gearboxes.

    I've thought about buying a complete IS300 from the states and just move everything over in my IS200.. How would that work out? The reason is really that we have bull**** import laws here in norway and to get plates on an IS300 would cost be about 15 000 - 20 000 £ alone, this is + the expenses for the car itself. I payed 16 400£ for my IS200 about a year ago, and then it was a stock '99.. Enough said.

    I can check the part number when I get home. It's an OEM Toyotapart, so you should be able to get them trough toyota

    No, unfortunatly you can't drop the seats down. Between the backseat and the boot there is a steel wall with only a hole for the skibag.

It's Australian$ but I'm dealing with already ,sorry :winky: You've bought it? Really need some kind of power upgrade for my IS.. And the TTE kit is damn near impossible to get your hands on..

    Hi all I've currently experienced a problem with my '99 IS200.. Parked the car outside my houseone night, when I started it the next day the folding mirror engine on the drivers side started up, and it wouldn't stop running.. Even though my mirrors was fully folded out when I started the car. If i fold them in, it stops.. But when i'm folding them out again the same thing happens.. Anyone experienced a simmilar problem before? Fredrik

    Will this be bolt on? Or does it require a lot of work? I'm not sure i want to start wit modding the fuel system and so on.. And the TTE can be innstalled on a stock engine without any adjustments can't it?

    Yeah, kinda knew that allready.. Regretting not buying one when people decided to sell the last time, but the economy wasn't quite on my side then..
