    Just a daft question really, i have found 6 of the supposed 8 speakers. Dash tweaters, front doors and rear shelf, where are the other two? It more than likely doesn't help that i only thought of this this mrning while sat in traffic and didn't have a proper look!

    Thats the thing though, the IS is a good handling car, however the 306 is/was the best handling car in its class. Lift off oversteer being great fun on private roads. So i doubt unless i spend a lot of money the IS would never keep up with a well driven 306 through a series of bends. And WIM is on my list of things to do.

    I've come from a 306 and was just looking for something that was a good size, had a few toys and made a nice noise. The other reason was that i wanted something respectable looking that wouldn't look out of place visiting clients in. Its very different at the moment, it doesn't handle any near as good as the 306 but its not the same type of car. Its good on a cruise, comfy and relatively simple to park. Just wish the fuel economy was a bit better. I don't regret swapping in anyway though as its a fantastic car.

    I just bought a 52 plate SE on 35.5K FLSH, in red, reasonable wheels with a couple of marks for 6k with no p/x. I'm prettysure you could get that a bit cheaper.

    Yeah i thought it looked best in red, i drove a black one but it showed up every single mark, and looked absolutely terrible. Modifying wise i'm not sure yet. I want to put the sport grill on it and possibly the spoiler. I would quite like a slightly noisier exhaust as well, just to bring out that nice noise! i am also thinking about putting the lower lip on the rear bumper as it has a scuff, or i may just get the scuff taken out. Not sure yet. These things all cost money which is in short supply at the minute though

    Thanks guys!! Sarah, the wheels aren't to bad, they are a bit dull in that pic . They do need touching up or refurbing though as they aren't quite as good as i'd like. a few to many kerb marks!

    Hello, my name is michael and i'm from lincoln. I just picked up my IS200 this morning. Its a 52 plate on 37k in red. This is now my third car, my first being a mk3 vauxhall astra. Second a Peugeot 306 Dturbo, and now my IS. And this is the only pic i have of the new one so far.
