Does anyone know if IS200s are laquered from the factory? I mean on the flat red colour not one of the metallics. thanks

the bottom of the switch for the drivers window snapped off, it still works, but i have to push the switch back into place and then it will work. This also means the auto function has a mind of its own, and i struggle to get the window to stay where i want it! Koko, i had seen them, but i don't have an ebay account. Also some of the prices are ridiculous, and the photos are rubbish on the cheaper ones.

Mine was free as i fished it out the skip when we had a clearout at work. Its dead is easy to fit, and is held on with straps. Takes about 5 minutes to get it on the back. I wouldn't put more than two bikes on it though, as the weight makes the boot lid flex. It isn't a recommended fit for the is200 in the brochure but it suits me fine. best thing to do is go in store and have a look at them. Buy one try it, and take it back if you don't like the fit. I have no pic on the car sorry.

I use the Halfords high 3 mount carrier. It fits on ok and it made it all the way up to Fort Bill and back. A roof rack system would be best but they are also mega expensive.

i had a hunt round for a battery last week as mine died, cheapest i found was £50 for the cheap one at halfords they went up to £60 (these were on trade). lexus offered one for £58 fitted. motor world wanted £80 and Somewhere else wanted £64 -
what do they look like out of interest?

no idea to be honest, but the garage should be abe to sort you one.

Just get your fingers under the edge of the case and pull it off. The whole surround has to come off to change the bulb not just the map light clear bit. make sure you get the right the bulb from lexus as well. It took the parts guy two attempts to get the right bulb!

I am after a drivers side rubber strip that sits in the roof gutters on the IS200, Preferably in red. Its a 52 Plate if thats makes any difference. I'm really annoyed as i've been everywhere looking for the dam thing and can't find it!!

Halfords 3 bike high mount cycle carrier will fit on. Its not the best system as you can't put two of the straps as high as i would like. Saying that i used one to take two bikes to fort william and back with no major issues. It also doesn't affect the lights ot plate. Personally if you can afford it go for a roof rack mounted set up.

Has anyone put 205-40 R17 on an IS200? I know they aren't the right profile, but my car has some rubbish budgets on at the moment and i have 4 nearly new paradas 9the 205s) sat in the garage doing nothing. Has anyone done this, does it look ridiculousy daft? any pictures if you have?

I have just put a new battery in the master key (the black one). I haven't used the key since i bought the car as the garage i bought it from said it didn't work. Well with a new battery, it starts the car, unlocks and locks from the remote, but it won't open the boot from the button. The boot will open if i use the key in the lock or pull the lever in the car though. Is there any easy checks to make to see how to get the key to unlock the boot from the remote?
