  1. By the looks of the seller I bought it off he definitely wasn't a trader more like someone who came across a car he thought he could make a few quid on. I will try sort some pics out shortly it's been a long time since I've been on here.
  2. I picked it up on saturday Closer to the £1650 than the £2795. It is a tidy example, Still going through the paperwork. But what I've found so far is. Full service Dec 2014 @113,000 miles (currently on 116,000) Feb 2015, n/s & o/s front upper wishbones replaced. New wiper blades,coil springs. It's covered 5000 miles since Aug 2012 I've got a few bill of sales. Aug 2002 £21,840.from lexus dealer Dec 2004 £10,000. Aug 2010 £2800
  3. They are Plug & play. i got the updated lights a while back.but have now updated again with led's which are again plug & play.

  6. finally got the set up done,a nice drive home thanks to NIGEL LANGS bolton. frendly staff with cuppas offered making you feel a valid customer..thanks to wim for the assistance and saving me the long trip...
  7. i went to sharm in feb for a 40th with the lads,7 of us at the airport ,2 taxis needed 1 cost 220 e pounds the other 200,25 minute ride..which is the same price we pay at home..got a minibus on the way back to airport 100 e pounds between us and a 10 minute trip,we did the 4 in 1;;back of a land rover through the desert,then snorkeling,then camel ride,back in l rover to another beach for more snork each time we pulled up around 10 kids surrounded our l rover hands out begging for money and food looking to see what they could grab from your hand,hotel was old fashioned but with the lads we dont care,,a bed for the night,all in food and drink and 340 quid for a week we were happy.... going back next feb
  8. got myself geometry set up booked in in bolton recommended by wim,got options from clubaristo about tyres/discs/pads
  9. hi chaps, going to update discs and pads on my aristo was thinking of black diamond with predator pads,would like to know of other options you guys are using,,also recommended tyres just lost one with the other not far behind 12 months 6000 mile brand new 245/35/19 yokos inner camber gone..do any of you know of anywhere a bit closer to home than a long trip down south to wim to get the set up done cheers..
  10. thanks johnboy for the organising and gord for the ticket.. had a good day was a bit funny, like walking into a strangers house and joining into the conversation will get to know you all a bit better the more meets i get to..its been 10 yrs since my last visit to the pod in an old rover sd1 vitesse wanted to have a good look around...managed return trip and 2 days pottering about on one tank of fuel...dont suppose you got the 30 to the gallon on the way back did you gord...

  13. i should be picking 2 mates up at 6 not sure which way to go,steady run down m6,, they are off m60 near m67 or to go over woodhead and join m1 at j35 a lot of average speed cameras as i found out on the way to sell my skyline and pick aero-top supra which i need to get rid of now i have the aristo,we will sought something out

  18. thanks guys about to have a look,,the place i went to this morning gave me the option of standard rear jap or slightly smaller yank plate i have the plastic carbon look surround on my aristo so stuck with jap option
  19. hi guys just got myself a private aristo plate,thought one of you guys may have snapped it up.. im looking to add a few touches to the design and have looked at loads of on line sites, show plates, fancy letters,borders,slogans, i did read bad press about one -no contact number,waiting ages for them to turn up ,shabby finish..is there a site any of you guys used and been happy with.. got a standard set made this morning just to be getting on with.. cheers
  20. hi guys, got the car back from the garage with the mot failure list ---rear seatbelt not retracting, had to show him by lifting the rear blind a bit and up went the belt,,no fog light obvious,,both headlights aiming to high which i new after re-placing both xenons with a struggle,[hands to big] o/side repeater wrong colour [ i have clear on both sides] both front tyres worn on inner camber time to do some searching -245/35/19.. glad both rear ok 275/30/19....
  21. with side lights on, the rear fogs act as side lights aswell as brakes when applied, i , just noticed today stabilising bracket on sard induction split were attached to body, all in time just working my way around it not a lot of probs just want to keep on top of it..
  22. called up to to glossop and oldham saturday they seem like good guys.. auto-serve wasnt keen on cutting into my rear bumper, at least they were honest,, a garage i called to last week said he will have a look but it will be trial and error didnt really fancy that.. i will have to find the smallest fog light i can and make do its in for mot thursday not sure how it passed without fog on last year once again cheers for the help..

  24. hi, all loc members.. sure ive seen a garage mentioned somewhere on the site but thought i would introduce myself instead of looking around,, does anyone know of a decent garage in the north west or surrounding areas where i can have a few cosmetic jobs done to my 97 aristo v300.. .i.e getting a rear fog light fitted into rear bumper instead of hanging one underneath, also what would a decent turbo timer cost me and name/type i should ask for,, probably forgot something else.. will get round to getting some pictures on soon,,, but car details are as follows.......BLACK 97 V300 VERTEX,POLISHED CHROME GRILL,,STAGGERED 19 INCH ALLOYS,,ILLUMINATED ARISTO SILLS,,BLITZ BOOST GAUGE AND SBC CONTROLLER SET AT 0;8 CUSTOM MADE EXHAUST SO IM TOLD,, TINTS,,WIND DEFLECTORS,, ELECTRIC REAR BLIND,,cheers rock on...club virginity gone now...
