  1. The original new pads on my IS200 are coming to their end. Just like to know if it's worth while changing these pads for aftermarket brands. How much improved braking do these offer using the standard discs. Anything I need to look out for when going aftermarket? Thanks.
  2. GRiM, Yes the headlamps are the standard black chrome units from Lexus. BTW, I checked with a new IS200 from the dealer and it sat 10mm lower on the left then the right.
  3. Cracking motor mate - looks very, very nice......... B) Thanks Zee007.
  4. GRiM, After they installed the springs, a 4 wheel alignment was done. http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/sc8168/vwp?.dir...view=t&.hires=t
  5. GRiM, They are K-Mac springs. It's just the rear passenger side which is about 5mm lower than the rest. However, K-Mac says new car standards here have a tolerance of around 5mm and is not a problem.
  6. Sorry, I was referring to the left and right side of the vehicle.
  7. Would anyone have photos of the rear suspension. I'm interested in the lower control arm where the coil sits. Just want to check if the installer reversed the left and right shock assembly as they fit both sides. Thanks.
  8. Has anyone had the experience after fitting new lowered coils that the ride height is not exactly the same on all wheels. Inparticular, left and right. Out by about 5mm.
  9. As part of the IS200 luxury option pack, the suspension is lowered. Can anyone tell me how much lower than standard this would be. Thanks.
  10. I've recently had my IS200 lowered with custom coils 1.75" front and 2.25 rear. I'm finding this too low and would like to know if it is possible to reset coils to an increased height. Or do I have other options?
  11. Si, the coils I'm getting are K-Mac. I'm down here in Australia and they custom wind coils. Stephen
  12. Thanks Mat, yes I'm getting it done by a pro...4 wheel alignment etc. Stephen
  13. I am planning on lowering an IS200 (with standard 17" alloys) with new coils by 2" at the front and 2.5" at the rear. Does anyone know if this would cause the tyres to scrub the wheel arches or guards. Any other opinions/suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks.
  14. Not sure if they were replaced under warranty as they were damaged rather than a fault. However, there was no charge for them. The numbers don't seem to be unique however.
  15. I had all 5 tyres changed as part of the Lexus tyre replacement programme. An inexperienced Toyota technician damaged each rim replacing the tyres. He must have been blind! :?:
  16. Today, my dealer replaced all 5 17" alloy wheels on my IS200 as they had damaged them during a routine service. I have noticed on the inside on each rim is a printed number. Is this the part number or batch number of some sort. I'm not talking about the etched numbers for rim size etc. It looks to be stamped with ink. Much appreciated.
  17. Nice to see another IS200 from Sydney :bounce:
