  1. Visited Paris last month and of course we went to see the motor show :P Here are some pictures from the Lexus stand
  2. Hi, Changed mine over the summer to silver vision ones so here it is what I have bought from autolamps-online: PY21W for rear WY21W for front (bought 2 pair) WY5W for side (never fitted) these are the original ones except the side bulbs just to show the difference between the silver and the standard bulb
  3. yes like yours looks good what did you use flexible one?
  4. Easy one :winky: you need to get the rear light/brake BULB HOLDERS with bulbs and some wires this TOPIC helped me I only did the fog/light conversion
  5. Hi, Has anyone installed DRLs already? Did the light/fog conversion last night and love it so I decided to do some lighting to the front of the car as well. Looking at something similar to THIS ONE. Is this road legal and will the car pass MOT with DRL installed to the correct position? What do you think? Thanks in advance
  6. I need to press and hold the button down for 3sec and the boot opens
  7. Found the perfect switch from a mk1 avensis but can`t buy it anywhere... Been on scrap yards today but no luck and called toyota but they only find the TRC OFF switch for £50, and also tried ebay (still await for answers)..any idea where can I get one from? Thanks this pic from ebay
  8. Thanks very much guys will definitely check when am back coz will be away from home for a couple of days
  9. Wouldn`t say the car is sh@t in the snow...if you have winter tires on I used to (and will) drive mine in snow and never got stucked and the snow button just helps...a lot!! Sometimes we have a lot of snow at winter in my country, I always spend the christmas over there and was worried about the car before I bought it coz its a RWD but I`m very pleased with it. Just one thing is annoying me...the VSC..you would have a lot of fun but you can`t turn it off :tsktsk: wanted to start a new topic about this but I ask here then: is it any solution to turn it off??? such as taking a fuse out or things like this??? Thanks in advance
  10. "We are pleased to confirm that your Lexus is not affected by the recall and you need to take no further action."
  11. A video from my country (Hungary) at step #16 lol nice to see BTW very nice mod and job well done
  12. Bought it for same but I had to pay £18 tax :tsktsk: ???? Adjusting sensors is not hard I did it at front of a building on a flat car park at dark so I could check what I was doing. Did the back one first, untight the 10mm nut and move it up and down to see movement on the headlight. Low setting moved the headlights up so I fixed it at the bottom and took it to a test drive. Still didnt give me good visibility so I set the car back and went on the front sensor. You need to turn the steering-wheel to the left to get access. On the front you need to untight the 10mm nuts at top and bottom of the arm and adjust it with the center one to move it up as shown on the 3rd pic then tight them back. After all I haven`t got the light on the dach I drive with good visibility at night and my headlights are not pointed up at oncoming driver`s face. Please note: you should take your car to a mechanics who can check or set to the correct headlight`s level, my MOT due in nov so I`ll see how well I`ve done :duh: also note that I have lowered with the TTE springs with 30mm drop and my sensors are at the lowest (rear) and highest (front) settings I dont know what would be the settings if you would go lower than 30mm Hope you understand what I try to explain because this is my first "How to" post Hope this helps
  13. I fixed mine as well but had to adjust the sensors coz have lowered the car but all been fixed now How much did you pay for it? If you dont mind me asking..
  14. Hi all, Ive got a custom exchaust system and the B2S2 oxygen sensor just gone so I`m after one. Does anybody know the Denso part number? Found THIS and woundering if this one would be good for me and if so is it an universal sensor? It costs £198.66 from Lexus but they dont have the denso part number. I usually buy parts from lexus easier and less hassle but on this one I would save a couple of quid. Whats your suggestion? An other question Ive got in my head... this sensor`s been fitted to the "Bank 2 side" of the original ypipe but on my mine they fitted after the Y part. Should it not be in the Bank 2 pipe? or does it matter? could it fail the new sensor again if I leave where it is just now? Sorry for my english but am not a car mechanic and english isn`t my first language either I have attached pics to explain my question hope you can help this pic from my.IS they have not done a perfect job (been sorted now) but sounds good Thanks
  15. Hi, Need your help Ive got a decat system on mine since this summer and the check engine light came on a couple of days ago. Took her to my local dealer and the code is for the O2 sensor. Would be good to know what to do and where can I get this wideband 02 sensor from. Googled it and there is many of these and I dont know which one is good for me. Hope you can help Regards
  16. Also worth looking on US ebay if required as the IS300 is a lot more common there - there's an ebay shop "JustIS300parts" that I've bought from before, great prices and great service :) Great info just found it CLICK thanks Ebay.com
  17. Hi Had the same problem about a year ago the light came-on on the dash and gone after a few minutes. Did it a couple of times and I noticed that my headlights were set to the lowest point after you started the car and stayed there all the time. Couldn`t drive at night so I did a google search and found THIS it worked for me and passed the MOT as well (make sure you dont set it too high) But I wanted to know the answer why this is so when I was doing my brake calipers painting I checked the sensors and found this: This is the front one on the passanger side and its locaited behined the coilover (the rear one is perfect on mine) it costs ABOUT £300 inc VAT at Lexus so it would be cheaper to find one on a scrap yard but sadly there isnt any breaking IS200/300 close to me
  18. all i know is that the wheels been fitted to the mk3 GS300 and I dont know the name of them sorry hard to find 2nd hand ones but you should ask on the GS forum
  19. I got mine from The Lexus Collection came with leather box and my spear keys with the dealer key rings
  20. It's up to you really, all depends on what you mean by "upgrade". If you mean brighter light, then you won't get brighter than the stock bulbs. If you want a different colour though, then go for it, but bear in mind that the higher the colour temperature (K) the lower the light output. I only wanted brighter lights with the same color as I have now wich is impossible after you helped me out on this one Thanks
  21. so if i got you right you wouldn`t recomend to change the bulbs, would you? I wouldn`t buy cheap bulbs but I will forget this upgrade than to save me a lot of hassel Thanks fro your info
  22. Hi, How many K and what color is the stock HID XENON lights? If I want to upgrade the bulb to a higher K one do I need to change/upgrade something else too? What type of bulbs do I need to look for? What K would you recommend? Dont know much about this. Thanks for your respond
