  3. Not a big fun of dark alloys but have to say really works on your car! Definitely a head turner. Good choice (Y)
  4. You say your monthly fuel expense is £120 so if you would stay on petrol for the next 3 years it would cost you £4320 (£120 * 36 months) in total ...but if you would go for the LPG conversion it would cost you £2140 for the same period, but lets say £2500 in total, so there would be over £1800 saving on fuel over 3 years, am I right???
  5. Been thinking a while now to convert mine as well as I love the car. Think its a good solution for rising fuel prices and if you fit a good system you wont have much problem with it. Friend of mine converted his 200 couple of months ago and keep saying should have done sooner. He says cant tell when the car runs on petrol or gas, it uses petrol on startup and switches to gas automatically when the engine is warm enough. The tank is in the spare wheel hole and the filling is hidden next to the petrol cap. I do long journeys twice a year so it should pay for itself quick but dont know what system to use to stay hassle free? Would be a DIY installation...
  6. Here you are: Link Got mine off him hope this helps Regards Link 2
  7. Thanks guys for the help will have a look at it at the weekend. Regards
  8. Hi all, Have got a similar problem. Friend of mine wants to install an aftermarket radio into his 2003 IS200 Sportcross with oem nav and his got a connector (see attached pic) back of the oem stereo and he can not find the right connector to complete the installation. Have bought 2 different connectors already for IS200 but they dont work. Dont know much about stereo staff so thats why we`re asking for your help Thanks in advance Robert
  9. Hi all, I fitted mine in Apr this year HERE ARE a few pics from the installation (sorry for the foreign link, but thats where my thread is) click to see full size The Grom unit is fantastic and the Bluetooth too but the ringing and `in call` volume are bit low. Have emailed Grom and they`re working on it, hopefully the outcome will be good. Make sure you have the latest version of firmware!
  10. Changed mine to genuine ones last summer and still have a scanned copy of the installation instructions on my computer PM me your email address and I send it to you Yes you need to remove the bumper
  11. Do you know whats been done exactly on the car? Engine oil+filter, timing belt, spark plugs, ...? The offer from Arnold Clark sounds good ill have a think about it

  13. Still have 2.5k miles to go and just wondering whats included in it and how much would the service cost at Lexus?
  14. Yes you still need to run a wire from the lamp wiring if you go for the brake conversion but I was saying easier for the light/fog mod which is the subject of the post :winky: Wish I would have known months ago when I was doing mine
  15. I bought these and used the light brown ones with 3 wires Had to cut off the little things (dont know how to call them sorry) on sides to make it fit but mines fit as OEM I run the wire from LH light Hope this helps

  19. Hi, Go for 16" (205-55)..cheaper and easier to find or you want to put them onto your summer wheels or you already have wheels? 16s dont look good on car but you only have them on for a sort time and the main thing is not the look anyway just my option Just changed to winter style last weekend ps: planning to buy an other set of 16" from the 2nd gen IS.. might look a little better
  20. 5.4L if you change the filter as well (I always do) and 5.1 if you don`t this is how much I fill up with
