  1. Happy Birthday jamessutton72!

  2. Chassis Number: Sorry, stupid question. I’m no tech head. In fact, I just get in it and drive. Where is my chassis number? And how many digits will it be?
  3. Could someone out there help? A month or two ago I had a board replace in my car. I had problems with gear indicator, engine temp, fuel light and gauge, external temperature gauge, fuel consumption gauge, Auto lights off and maybe some more. Apparently it controlled all of these. One month later the same problem is back! !! ! :shutit: ! It cost £400+ to get this sorted!!!! I did get my clock set back to 000000 thought!!!! What can be causing this? And will I be expected to pay for a new one again?
  4. I know someone who's had a standard 200 auto up to 125mph. Obviously not me, as that would be very illegal, and you’d be liable for a good shafting from the old bill. (if they see ya!) But I suspect there are many faster cars about. What’s the top end on a manual? And what about you 2fast 2furious types? :winky:
  5. Try lexus website. http://www.lexus.co.uk/approved.php?area=search Not many of that spec.
  6. Thanks Nige. Yes. I’m struggling to come to terms with my own profound stupidity. Plastic fixing sound the way forwards.
  7. IS on a 'W' I'd never be stupid enough to reverse into a concrete post. I find driving head on into them far more satisfying While I'm getting this work done, I could get parking sensors fitted in the front bumper, as the two I have on my face are not working to well. Specsavers here I come
  8. Let’s just imaging someone was stupid enough to drive into a concrete post and scuff / dent the bumper. Can it be repaired? Or is it time for a new one?
  9. I’ll be interested in that, as I’m only getting 280 miles per tank. Sorry, but can you tell me what the ECU does and how do you reset it?
  10. I'm there everyday. Drive down the East Lanc's about 8am. The plate is J*** SUT
  11. have we all seen this? discussed before I'm still totally perplexed by this. :duh: Think its all to do with ago of car.
  12. So what am I doing? I believed the following: 1 press = locked and alarmed (Indicators flash one). 2 presses = dead locked and alarmed (indicators flash a coupe of times). This is on a 2000 'W' plate. Am I disabling the sensors? Can somebody explain I’m total confused now! :duh:
  13. Your right! It's much more fun than working. :D
