  1. Hi. Just picked up a brand new advance in mesa red and I love it. However, a couple of things are bugging me and I cant find the answers in the manual, so would appreciate some help from here if possible: I cannot seem to work out how to set the Lexus display so that it goes into night mode when the lights come on (at night). The manual says (on page 368) that the system should go into day mode when the lights come on, but suggested that this can be done manually. However, when I go to the screen on the display, day mode is not there. Can anybody help with this? My car has folding mirrors which I expected to fold automatically when the car is locked. They do not do so. Is this a dealer programmed option or can I do this myself? I would appreciate any help you can give me with these issues.
  2. I have an IS220D and read in a recent report that the car has a split / fold rear seat. Is this the case, because if it is, I cannot find the button to release it.
  3. Hello. Can anybody tell me how to remove the stereo from my 2006 IS220D. I have purchased an after market ipod connection kit (from Grom Audio) which needs to be plugged in to the rear of the unit, but I cannot see how to remove the trim around the stereo and ventilation system. Do I need any special tools or is it a simple unscrew job. I would appreciate any help that you can give.

  5. Hi. I am new to the forum and am picking up a used (2006 model) IS220D next week. The car does have an ipod auxiliary connection (a single jack plug) inside the arm rest, but could anybody tell me whether this connection merely transmits the sound through the in-car stereo system, or can I control the ipod (change tracks and volume etc) through the steering wheel controls using the connection? The car has the standard fit 6 cd in dash player fitted. If not, is there an after market system that can be fitted to do all this.
