  1. I had a similar problem with my SE-I (2010 Model), it has become alot better once I lowered the front part of the seat to support the thighs, also pushed in the lower back, seems to have helped. I also try to avoid wearing a jacket with a hood to stop the upper back/ shoulder ache.
  2. Did you notice any difference from the stock and k&N filter, any MPG improvements? I have used Blitz previously with a drilled air box in a previous car and did notice the difference, engine became alot more responsive. Still deciding what to go with. will feed back once a decision is made.
  3. Yeah thats what I'm roughly getting and I do round trip of 60 miles to work.
  4. when you say low, how low are we talking? I'm assuming your doing mostly mway driving?
  5. you could try setting up your android/iphone device, etc as Access point and getting your car to connect and see if that works also.
  6. you could be on to something about diesel. I used to Asda diesel even thou it was cheap it never used to give me great mpg so since changing to Shell Regular diesel my mpg has increased and feels alot better to drive. I am yet to try Shell Vpower Nitro, have you tried this if so how was it?
  7. Hi Guys, I have a IS200d (2010) just wanted to know what are the recommended air filters e.g. panel, cone, brand? Also is anyone aware of any known issues whether the current air feed setup has any restrictions or hot air flowing? Thanks in advance.
  8. Will it show me the play list on the navi system so i can chnage tracks etc or does it still have to be done by the phone?
  9. Thanks Chris, Will have to give it some thought as I use the motorway pretty much daily and will keep the car for atleast another 5 years.
  10. Hmm that's what I had it on, will have to give a try again when i get a moment.
  11. Thanks for the responses. I've tried Chipex on my previous car wasn't impressed did the same job as a touch pen. @ Chris, where do you get conceder clear barm from and how much does it cost? As i tried googling it through a whole bunch of other crap.

  13. Hi All I have a IS200d SE-I which has full lexus Navigation system inc usb, bluetooth(not the Mark Levinson Kit), I tried to connect my HTC one S (Android) via the USB port but the stero doesn't recognise is this know issue that it only works with Ipod/Iphones? If I use my HTC via Bluetooth it will work fine. I know the USB port works fine as i currently have my USB memory stick inside and that works fine but you to tend to loose the sound quality.
  14. Hi Guys, Has anyone taken out a Smart repair policy out with Lexus, if you have would you be able to advise how they repair stone chips are they using a touch up pen or do they respray the whole section, I was offered this policy when I bought my lexus back dec 2013 but never took it out at the time but now as I'm getting few stone chips on front and rear bumper I want to get these chips repaired to keep the paint work looking good? Thanks
  15. Hi Guys, I just bought a IS200d SE-I (2010 model) 3 weeks back but I'm on getting 33.4 mpg combined, I do roughly 60 miles a day 80% of which is M/way and dual carriage ways, I'm not driving hard and make use of all 6 gears, i did try using gear 5 between 70-75 but saw mpg dropping? Car was serviced in early december, i tend to change gears between 1500-2000rpm, also I have changed from using ASDA fuel to Shell Regular Diesel fuel which helped is there anything else I can do? I see resetting the ECU (disconnecting the battery) can help, when doing will that reset my stereo/navigation/bluetooth configurations? Thanks in advance
  16. I think I will get an independent garage to fit both bulbs. Has anyone used Jem Lexus specialists in colindale? Hi Roc, I have asked Jem for quotes to change brake pads and clutch and their labour is high but should be half the charge you would pay to the dealer, if I was you I would take it to a small garage or someone who is good with cars e.g. friend/family.
  17. Hi All, I just bought a IS200d on 2010 model, this is my first disel car and have been told my car idling is abit high, my car is idling at 1200rpm when its cold start and a warm engine but the car drives fine is this normal?
  18. Hi all I'm currently looking to purchase a IS200D can anyone please tell me what differences are between an SE-I and the Advance model? Thanks
  19. I believe they work out the servicing costs is dependent on how many miles you clock up in a year, so if you're doing 20K a year it would cost you alot more for 3 services as you would be getting your car serviced twice a year so you would have to pay for your service plan within 18 months, where as if you're doing 10K miles a year and for 3 services it would be cheaper and you can spread out the payments over 3 years.. Hope that helps.
