i've owned it for about 5 days now, i just haven't bothered changing the date on the camera i will keep an eye out for the wider rear wheels. i did look at 2 mk2's but this one sttod out because of the colour but also because of the overall condition and the service history. i think they look brilliant in white. i haven't decided wether i like the gold coloured bottom half, i may get it repainted in the white instead. -

i'm gonna get the tyres changed when i refurb the wheels. one wheel has a slight dent in the rim so they defo need doing.

alot of the dvd/sat nav headunits have bluetooth built in. that's always an option as i do want sat nav built in.

i'll get a pic up of the wheels today. the rear's definetley look a bit stretched but the front's look fine to me.

that rules that one out. i think i'll keep the standard headunit then, it sounds too good to take out just because i want sat nav. thanks for the help :winky:

so if i sourced the parts i could essentially get it running. i bet they're hard to come by though aren't they??? would a lexus dealer stock the parts i need???

i've got a private plate on my gs300. "L300 KLP" is it worth anything you think??? been told by previous owner he paid £500 for it a few years ago.

i went to unlock the car today and the little red light stayed on the keyfob. i couldn't get it to turn off so i removed the battery and put it back in. now it won't lock or unlock the car :duh: any idea's how i reprogram it to unlock the car??? thanks

i'm not sure if it is the stereo amplifier or not. i was told it's for the phone as it has something about communications written on it. i really need to get in the boot and have a proper dig round and see what it actually is. there's nothing on the center console that looks like a phone or socket or anything so i don't think it has one. it was behind the little wall bit in the boot underneath the subwoofer.

I'm running the 18" Lexus alloys on my GS300 Sport. Can anyone tell me the correct tyre sizes for these wheels??? it's currentley running 225/40/18's front and 245/40/18's rear. The rear's look stretched so was wondering if i could fit 225's on the rear??? thanks for the help.

i've found a gadget that looks like an amplifier in the boot. apparentley it's to connect a phone to the car but i can't find the phone in the car. does anybody know how it works or where i could find the phone to connect to it??? thanks

while searching for a good gs300 i did look at a couple of mk2's. they both had a screen instead of the standard lexus stereo that's in mine. is it possible to remove mine and fit one of these lexus screens from the mk2??? thanks

after spending a few hours cleaning it up today i went through everything to see what i needed. so far as i can tell it needs a new front bumper, aerial, boot carpet and a center cover for one wheel. it's got standard 18" lexus alloys so shouldn't be too hard to find. i've not got to grips with this forum yet and was wondering how i join as a gold member so i can use the for sale and wanted sections of the forum. can somebody point me in the right direction please???

hi guys, thanks for the welcome. i picked up the gs yesterday from louth, lincs. brilliant drive all the way home. 150miles seemed like half that. oh and i love the stereo :D

Hi guys. i'm a new member and i'm picking up my first lexus tomorrow. it's a gs300 sport. i used to own a ford probe gt and i'm currentley a member of the uk probe owners club but i fancied a change. i looked at a gs300 a while back but the probe won over on me then but this time i chose the lexus. i hope to learn a bit about the car and hopefully get to a few meets this coming year (if you do meets). so hello!
