Do the Eibach springs lower 30 mil on standard or sport? Because sport is already 30 mil lower than SE IIRC and I want to lower my SE on Eibach pro but not by 60 if you get me??

This happened to a mates Tezza in work the other day.. get a cloths hanger and bend your door enough to just get it in an patiently get it down to the boot release handle.. It took about 20 minutes between 3 of us swapping turns but eventually got it and didnt even leave a mark on his paint ha.. but you could easily leave a nice big scratch somewhere if you werent carefull.. good luck

I don't know if it's common or not but my fuel gauge only goes up when i put more than 20 quid in which does my nut in when its sitting on the pin with a score in the tank and i dont know how much I really have left!! and error 3 that comes and goes.. and flywheel judder.. and no low down power whatsoever.. accelerating out of a junction in low revs in second gear is a joke and if you put it in first its screaming on the redline! cup holders are useless and theres no armrest and if you use the flat bit on top of the sentre console for anything its just falls of when you take off because its smooth carpet. The wheels corrode in no time too. Allsaid though i do like my car although it doesn't sound that way lol. Beautiful to look at and a nice comfortable drive even if it does my head in sometimes lol

i hear if you paint a checker flag on your roof along with this mod your pushing an extra 100HP and don't have to change any engine internals or even visit a mechanic..I bet anyone who spent 3k on a turbo or s/c set up is kicking themselves now that this piece of engineering genius has arrived lol.. I don't like taking the p**s out of people asking genuine questions but I think it's time you took yourself to the saxo owners site where I think you'll fit in much better

Does he tiny hole have a tiny screw inside to fit a tiny hex key in by any chance? My old car had them and they were rusted shut so had to bring it to a tyre shop to fit new valves..hope this helps u somehow

I think met grey will look well on the green myself. The colour of jasons wheels look good to me and would suit any dark colour I reckon. Yea I don;t know what it is but it's a serious pain I know that much and from any experience I've had with Lexus wheels they all go like that. My dad had an LS400 and 430, GS300 and now an LS460 and all the wheels went the same way and had to be redone. and any wheels i've looked at second hand for my 200 are all the same. I know it's a bit off subject but does anyone know anything about wobble bolts and are they safe etc because my cousin has a nice set of wheels off his S3 knocking about they're 5x112 and wouldn't mind sticking them on the 200 if it's possible :)

@lance : it wouldnt be hard to be a better quality finish than the standard Lexus wheels. And I've a mate who's a sprayer for BMW so I'll be getting some BMW wheel lacquer so will last until I'm getting rid of the car. @jasons: I agree they are falling in price but so is everything.. and why would a boy racer want an is200? there too big, too heavy and too slow.. Dont get me wrong I love mine but there not for trashing and certainly nowhere near a boy racer car. @fjcfarrar: Then Lexus should change supplier. For a company that prides itself on luxury etc the least they could do is have quality manufacturers for every part of there car, especially something as obvious as wheels. Its not about the climate I see 80's BMW's everyday and wheels are still perfect from new. Even early 90's Citroen AX's around my area with original wheels so it's not the climate it's cheap lacquer..

And driving around with lacquer peeling and chipping off every wheel because the "prestige marque" that is Lexus used the worst wheel lacquer they could get their hands on looks a lot better does it?

I was thinking charcoal like the Subaru charcoal grey is that the same kind of shade your talkin g about Rory?

Yea that was my thoughts on the gold/bronze too but was thinking like a charcoal with a very light gold hint but then again could look terrible.. what I was thinking about charcoal is that they might not stand out at all then and just look like cheap wheels with a s**t finish ye know??..cheers for the reply

Hi all. I'm collecting a set of 5 spoke Sport alloys for my car today. They are in good condition but I'm going to give them a refurb before I put them on anyway. Im looking for any advice on what colour I should do them? Exact colour names would be agreat help so I can get down to halfrauds and grab exactly what I need. I'm open to goldy/bronzy/charcoaly suggestions but I dont want to buy paint and get home and spray the wheels and they turn out orange. My cars the same colour as the one in the pic except it has black heads and fogs. Cheers :)

Hi all.. Quick question.. What is the standard BHP and torque figures for a 6 cylinder Altezza in comparison to a 6 cylinder is200? are they identical or does one produce more power than the other? I have a is200 and want to know is there a way to kick the power up to TEZ numbers with a few minor adjustments? Or is it not as simple as it sounds? Thanks in advance

Hi all. I have a 99 is200. I was thinking about a sport grill as my first mod but looking out the window at it now I think that maybe painting the standard grill center black and keeping the surround chrome might look good but Im looking for people who have done it for help and advice before I get hacking at my grill. Any pics of this done too because Ive only saw this one I stummbled upon on tezzaworld today that looks painted to me? or is it just an option from new that i haven't seen before??. Thanks in advance for any help

I know the last post is a long time ago but want to bump this up to the top because I would like to see a pic on a standard bumper because i dont like TRD splitters.. i love tte bumpers but money is not rolling in at the min so budget fixes is the call for the next little while unfortunately.. If noone has done it im going to give it a ***** in the next couple of weeks but would like to see a pic of it done if there is one floating around.. cheers ;)

Tigerseal is in my opinion the best for sticking any body parts.. its super strong and doesnt go brittle after time but make sure u don't let any drop on the paint or you're in trouble:)

Or go to the lexus owners club for the states there all mad for crystal fogs like ours so find someone to do a swap and will only cost you the postage of yours to the states for nice smoked fogs..simples

Well a sport grill to start but I'm after sorting one in Wicklow off an altezza but it a 2 hr trek each way down and back. Have you anything done to your own car or is it standard? I've not noticed many sports around town what colour is it? Have you any bits knockin around yourself that you want rid of?

I'm looking for both rear light masks and front eyebrows(the straight kind) pref in Ireland but would pay postage to here if necessary. Replica parts are no problem at all I don't mind of the not original TRD/TTE pr whatever once they look the part. Colour not important either. Cheers

Hi. I'm new to LOC just bought my first one the other day afters of waiting. It's a 2000 reg is200, blue, 79k full main dealer history. I'm in Ireland just outside Dublin and just testing the water on here to see if there's anyone else on here from this side of the water that can help me get parts or whatever or get a couple of meets going. My car is 100% standard at the mo so I'm looking for a few little bits and pieces. First off has to be a sport grill so if anybodys from Ireland and has one lying around drop me a line. Second I want corner spats. Same deal if you know of a pair let me know I'll take them straight away, I wont hold my breath though. Anyway lads peace out :)
