  1. Old time member back with an IS200, previous owner of the exact same model (sport with styling kit and sat nav) but this time its blue and not silver, also owned a blue 250 sport...

After buying the car I had a 300 mile trip home, not sure what I averaged but I did it with a little over a quarter of a tank left and that was at around 80 most of the time.

80 quid fill up at Morrison's...

Swear it was 65 quid to fill it up back in 05!!!

    Caspa

what the comparison handling between the 250 sport n Is200 Sport?? off course the miles per gallon

amaz that you downgrade back to the old model

  2. sound like a huge big job "unplug" everything (entire interior) before you can "plug and play"...

if you have a double din touch screen just connect to the sat nav housing unit (off course you havta mod the sat nav unit first) as a top second screen coz get a lot complaint the stereo screen sat too low

read few diy guys try to install a full original sat nav system from another IS200 but ended selling the lot in the end.

as Ian say "you will need all dash loom from same model year as yours" making sure it does works or you gonna sit there scratching your head like a cute pug

if you know what you doing you could give it a try

    good luck :zee:

  3. As chris said no Is300 sport debate here.. Read my lips again matt.. 'on paper no its not but technically yes it is' what gives it away as a sport? Lowered sport suspension, tinted rear windows, two tone steering, LSD, lip spoiler and sport peddles. Jump off a roof if you cant accept it matt

Hahaha. Still not a sport tho! :D

    >Does the insurance policy price quote make any different between Sport and non-Sport model.

Think mine was about £20 more (for the year) but I put that down to the valuation of the car (which was a bit higher than the SE I'd previously had a quote for)

lol that's what i was thinking as one small words did make different on the policy

did once got quote extra £100 between a "H" type S and Type R ... in the end happy bought a Lexus :driving:

  4. I'm pretty sure the door glasses are the same in the (front at least) of a saloon and a SportCross, so there's no reason the wind deflectors would be different.

The curve is definitely not arched enough, and the length way too long. It's hard to tell from a pic, but it may be they just need curving in, which might pull the back edge in far enough to fit. Id' be tempted to leave them out in the sun all day to soften up (they won't melt, they're designed to be outside 24/7) and then gently try bending them in. I doubt very much they'll shatter, as they are an outside plastic, designed to be in hot sun and cold winters. But slow and gentle is the name of the game

been many ppl (forum)have bump into this situation including myself as the hatchback "sportcross" and the "saloon" does have slight shape different. on the Heko label did say IS300 but it also printed "hatchback" and "saloon" that's how their stock divide.

  5. I'd had a very bad driving habit by sitting the hand on the gear shifter n the othe hand on the steering wheel. Now the arm just sit on the armrest and easily shift gear without feeling stiff on the palm :whistling: . althought it's not a origin armrest (stilo mod) but i wud say it's money well spent on a armrest :zee:

  6. best choices is to pick the GROM unit as these china made stereo always mess up big time everytime after few months of use and the seller just disappear when you asking for warranty.

the GROM has option of adapter for most mobile hand set. i think it's a good investment or it's just me :innocent:

    good luck :zee:
