    mine was driven max 200 yards. ive now driven almost 500 miles and car is faultless. sat on m25 with 31mpg over a 20 mile section at 75mph. I love it ! 😊

    hi guys. my 600 is due a service in feb but has only done 2000 miles since last dealer service. seems pointless paying £300 again. does anyone know if they have a cheaper low miles option ? basic system checks.levels etc?

    hmmm. nightmare... alarms generally triggered by movement/ proximity sensors. also 12v circuit being recognised by alarm./ drop in 12v battery supply. door contacts .bonnet catch making and breaking a 12v circuit.

    i had it plugged onto laptop by workshop foreman at toyota. full diagnostic. no faults at all. ive seen on auto trader they retail around £13500. 😊

    the car is stunning. every button does as it should. drives perfectly..i paid £11000. including my fees and costs .

    yes of course. she is 2008 600hl in windsor blue with ivory leather. 111k. full lexus history 11 stamps. previous owner had extended wty cover so was loved. he paid £15575 for the car in sept 2016. but part ex this in for a Tesla .she has the rear entertainment with dvd and reclining rear seats.

    happy days... all seems to be fine. it was run out of fuel at auction site. i refilled and she started ok. trailered it to dealer for check up on laptop. all codes erased and drives perfectly so far with no lights etc. there is tons of history wirh car and previous owner had full extended lexus wty cover. only thing i have noticed was chain tensioner rattle starting up one time last night ... will keep eye on that.. 😊

    bought from auction ... no return. im hoping its run out of fuel.. this shuts down car/ hybrid system for protection. i have a trailer today so i will collect it and see whats going on. the car was running with no warning lights thursday but low fuel... fingers crossed just sucking air !

    hi... on my 4th lexus now. a 600hl. just bought it . picked it up and went to start. rough as hell then check hybrid system lights all on dash. was only serviced 1000miles ago . 2008 car with 110k. any ideas . ?

    Yes . Sounds like you have air in system . Fluid should be changed every 2/3 years anyway due to inducing water .

    Hi guys . Been away for a while but just bought my 3rd Lexus . A 460. On 2007 plate. 33000 miles ( yes 33k ) ! 😊. It's an import .. Km speedo and odometer .. Can anything be done to change km- miles ? Also the brake warning light is on amber . ( check by dealer ) . Any know issues with brakes or parking brake ? Thanks .

    hmmm fair point, i will keep rear boxes etc anyway for mot just incase, i figure it wont have any effect on running as gasses already slowed down by first silencers etc anyway, just think it should give a lil more parp ,, which is always nice,,:)

    hi boys and girls, i got a possible daft question,,??? will it make any difference taking off the two rear silencer boxes from my Ls 400?? (ie ) noise ? and running differences? is it possible to do this and just replace the final section with straight pipework? :)

    hi, when i find a set of 18 inch rims i will be looking to swap my 5 standard corroded alloys ,anyone interested ? i need a nice condition driver seat and maybe a set of boot carpets as mine are manky,, :)

    hi guys, i recently bought a ls 400 97, i was thinking about doing valve clearances ?? is this a nightmare job? and do they often need adjustment? also auto box oil. again easy to do and is it neccessary?? thanks.. :)

    hi steve, thanks for reply, :), glad i took the plunge and bought a 400, had a few nice cars along the way but none less than 500 pounds that drives like she does , are valve clearances a big issue on these cars? mine has done 166k, got tons of stamps in book but im thinking i will check them ,,oh, and is changing auto box oil a nightmare?

    hi , my alloys are awfull, i was looking at mazda rx8 wheels , i believe these will go straight on? any ideas? i dont want to spend much as only paid £490 for the car lol. also any ideas on clear indicators and side repeaters ? also is there anything else i should do ? im a technician for farnham honda so service wise im all ok.
