yer my 07plate 220d was fine too although mpg was 32 it was still 7 more than the 250. didnt have any issues with that car either.but hey each to there own. the 59 220 i got is the same interior as the 250 just engine seems different

well my experience is a little different. my 220d went in over xmas for some warranty work and they gave me a 59 250 auto. i spent shed loads of money on fuel because of my short journeys, loads more than my 220d would have used. i dont seem to be having issues with soot up egr as i once a week give it a blast up the motoway for about an hour.

still waiting for the meerkat to be delivered though :)

well my first was an 07 220 se which was good but this one is perfect i only do around 6k a year my work is 3 miles from home so you can imagine the small journeys. i do have a blast up and down the motoway everyweek to clean it out. i love my car. its the cleaner g/km version but still @ 177bhp so its slightly cheaper tax. oh just a quick tip my insurance was with swift cover @ £600 p/year 11+ NCD fully comp i changed to Hastings essentials and its now £255 fully comp. so woop woop

im on my second lexus in 12 months. not because i had issue but because i saw my cherry red one and had to have it. i will probably be a lexus owner for life now. best car i have ever driven

i wanted the rear sun shield but it never came with it

wiper warm is in the row of 3 buttons on the right of the steering wheel. little picture looks like a windscreen with a line on it. takes a few mins to warm up but careful if you gunna touch em they get hot and the button i dont know what it does is on the bulkhead above the footrest not on the dash or the plastics

i have posted somewhere here about a random button i found. i had a 07 220se with a random button that i cant find any explanation for. just above the footrest in the drivers footwell is a small button. i pressed it a few times but nothing noticable happens. i know have a 59 220se-l and the same button is there, still nothing happens (that i can see) anyone know what it is ? p.s my fav button is the wiper warmers
