Wh05apk, I could not agree more......my previous IS250 3rd generation delivered good fuel return daily, I used to travel a 100 mile round trip on the a17, flat straight roads were a bonus, and as for tyre wear..... I changed my back tyres at 41,000.

The reading of 46.8 was at the end of a 133 mile journey from London, late at night with little traffic using cruise control. You can see from the bar chart that it has consistently registered 40 mpg.

IS250 F Sport mpg Motorway journey A1 & M11 managed to get a constant 40 on the bar chart read out, however it only goes upto 40!!! My overall was 46.8 ...... Not bad for a 250?

Info on discs: Working: Rush 2112 region 0, 5.1 has a video storyboard (like Scs) Not working: Metallica black album DVD audio The Doors LA Woman DVD audio Both are Audio only .....no Dvd video and are not regioned

Some DVDs audio discs work and some don't, any idea why? The ones that don't will play the first 10 seconds and will then repeat the same 10 seconds. The ones that do sound incredibly crisp.

Not much chat on here regarding 250's I nearly bought a 300h, however you cannot compare the driving experience between the two in my opinion, i stood back and considered the pros and cons and came up with the conclusion that you cannot put a cost on the driving experience and therefore could justify the £290 road tax and the slightly less fuel consumption. I have just bought a white F Sport - collecting it this weekend and it had a black one on, told the salesman that it looked unsightly and he said he can get a silver one (assumed it is alloy colored) I may have the part number as it is on the order form

in response to Ben........ I spent 3 months looking for a 13 onwards IS250 and did a lot of research, I got a lot of contradicting info from a range of dealerships. Most of them said "it has no DVD player in the premium nav" Have you tried loading a disc with the handbrake on?

I have an aluminium one on order. I assume its an OE.

Hi all, Collecting a 14 plate 250 F Sport this weekend and it has Premium Nav with ML audio fitted (this will be my 3rd IS). I have been looking into the specs on the ML system and I am unable to find much. There is a section on the ML website: http://www.marklevinson.com/mark-levinson-in-lexus.html I was hoping to be able to do the following: Play DVD audio discs Play SACD disc (Super audio CDs) Play a music DVD's that has 5.1 audio - (I am aware that ....correct me if I'm wrong ....you can play and watch a DVD when parked, as soon as you select a gear the screen will go blank but the audio still plays. Can anyone confirm this? Gary

Can anyone advise me about a rear screen/ roof spoiler. These fit directly onto the rear glass at the top using adhesive pads i think? Are they easy to fit? And the best place to get them from? eBay?? Many thanks
