  1. It took me sometime to realise the image was the bumper
  2. Yes I've had my rx400 about 4months now and that reflection really is annoying. It is so bad sometimes its like when you have a completely clear road in bright sunlight and you cant see a thing in front of you. If they produce a sheet for the left hand version you'd think they would have enough common sense to do a right hand version.
  3. Purchased a Lexus approved rx400h 3 weeks ago and realised mine had no remote. However, the dealer has now sent me one exactly as in the ice book and works fine. I do however have a problem with the headphones in that I can only get sound from them whilst looking at the floor!!!!!! Looking at the screen I'm only getting static and yes I'm wearing them the correct way. I am told they are under warranty but after reading on here about mm not being under warranty I'm a bit sceptical. Any ideas why I'm getting this problem?
  4. I was told by the dealer, 2 dealers actually that it isn't a belt but a chain and quite a lot of the time they can just be adjusted.
  5. Tell us pray said battery from bosch was it part number 444771587 s4 battery 158? I ask because the site comes up with 44 batteries when you type s4.
  6. Just looked at the site you state and having typed in 'bosch s4 battery' after typing reg No to let the site know what the vehicle was, 44 batteries came up none stated s4 but they all had long No's beside them. My 07 vehicle gets delivered this Friday and I'm now just wondering if I too am going to be one of those people who experiences battery probs.
  7. Thankyou for that Colin. We have now put down the deposit on a rather nice 07 plate rx400h se-l version all singing all dancing top of the range in a nice metalic grey with black leather from a Lexus main dealer, so hopefully having paid just a little bit extra for the privelage of an approved vehicle we will have at least 1 years trouble free motoring and hopefully many more besides. 8. With regard to the clay, they do say to keep turning it over every now and again to find a clean bit but and this is what I dont understand. The particles that come off are debris and will stick to the clay. The clay is not a huge piece but only about 3" square and it is supposed to be enough to do a complete car so how the hell are you supposed to find a clean bit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With regard to electric polishers or attachments for an angle grinder or indeed a power drill. Again as with the clay, be very careful about the amount of pressure used as you will invariably end up with swirls if not 100% competent in what you're doing and if the vehicle happens to be black then they will look 100% worse in the sunlight. If you watch some vids of proffesional detailers at work ( plenty on you tube) you will see how many different processes they actually go through and believe me it all takes lots of time.
  9. Can't comment on any of the products myself but will offer a word of advice/warning. If you are considering clay bar then be very careful not to apply too much pressure, always use lots of lube & make sure the clay is really really soft. You can really mess up your cars finish if you don't follow the above. Rodders.
  10. I am looking at buying one of the above and was under the impression there were 2 specs, se & sel. However I have noticed in some adverts that the seller states Sr. Is the Sr another spec? Rodders.
