  1. cheers dude, will check that once im able to get up and about again
  2. I bought my IS200 back in November and since ive had it, some of the adjustment on the drivers seat havent worked. Ive just pulled my back for the 2nd time this week and ive decided i realy need to get this sorted so i can set the seat so its better for my back basically the front and rear height adjustment isnt working, when u use the switch, there is a buzzing on both sides so it seems the motors are working but its not doing anything. Is it possible that these motors have just become dislodged from a gear system or something? cheers
  3. I agree, i like 5 and 6 spoke wheels............. but not these, just look too bland to be honest
  4. i dont get why those aero wheels are so expensive and why so many people want them??? i dont even think they look that good. i prefere the stock Is wheels over them or am i missing something????
  5. both front and rear are camber adjustable :winky: will be doing the front aswell but need to wait til my bro is free as he will have to redo the geometry afterwards
  6. yeh ive still got to camber the rears a bit but we're also looking into widening the arches... just trying to decide the best route.
  7. new ones are 18" aswell but 8.75" on front and 9.75" on rearwith a 20 ofset. a 35 offset would have been better but they only do the wheeks in a et20
  8. white wheels were Advan 18" x 8j, et40 offset all round. pretty weak to b fair
  9. Handles lovely now, running 225/40/18 on the front in a 8.75" rim and a 235/40/18 on rear on a 9.75" rim. They a nice stretch, didnt want anything too mental as ill be towing a trailer with it. As for the plates, they originate from Northern Ireland i beleive
  10. the white wheels were'nt as good as the pics made them look ;)

  15. So nobody has any info on doing this engine conversion?
  16. Hi guys, just looking to get some basic answers on fitting an Ls400 motor into my is200. Not going to tune it but im a big lover of V8's (im a drag racer, what u expect lol) and looking to get just a little more shove. I am planning on buying a complete car to do the conversion with. What is involved in the conversion, i understand the engine mounts are the same but need a 10mm spacer? what about the gearbox mount? Whats the deal with the wiring and ECU? wiring isnt a problem for me its just knowing what is needed to make all things work. now the big one, id like to stay on a manual gearbox. Is this possible by using the IS200 gearbox? the reason i ask is i dont want to spend alot of money hunting down supra gearbox's etc. If i cant use the IS200 or even possibly the LS400 auto gearbox, then im not going to bother doing it as its just not worth my time as im planning on the the conversion taking a week or 2 (yes i know, i like to work fast) and on a minimal budget as possible (all my money ends up going on bike racing lol) are there any other problems im likely to encounter? cheers john
  17. Looking good mate how is it running ? ( first pic make me want it bk ) yeh its running fine mate, up to 166k on the clocks now and just passed its MOT last week without a single advisory, just needing to find £700 now for some new alloys lol
  18. They re nice, but 1 of them needs straightening as its slighty buckled and causes vibration over 60mph, they all need a refurb in general and i just cant be bothered lol, so ill sell them as skid rims i think lol

    Is200 Towbar

Hi guys, looking for a towbar for a is200, not too fussed about the electrics but would be handy by not essencial, dont even need the ball, just the main towbar. Cant afford £140+ at the minute for a new one so looking to see if anyone has one kicking around that they want rid of cheers john
  22. i fill mine up till its ****** out the side of the car every month on payday. Just done 180miles and still 3 notch's over half a tank, combined dual carrageway (50mph) and town driving. Only had my IS 3 months and its returning 400+ miles to a tank
  23. I thought it was balasts on mine untill i got no headlights at all and the relay started clicking. Needed a new anti theft ecu which cured it
