Well what a days its going to be, go to work.......get the job done and out the way, if not no JAE for me ;) then get home pick the IS up take it to get the window fixed, then get back home do the car in & out, pack the car for JAE........then setoff for JAE and hope i dont forget any think :duh:

good post mate, and thanks...........i have all ways pressed the key fob twice! thinking the car was deadlocked and sets the alarm! but this can not be so.........as my alarm did not go off!!

so yes any help of this would be good guys, i will all so do some testing today...........and get back to you guys

I'm sure this changed from the older specs ... to the new specces IS ...

but I beleive on the newer spec IS ... the 2nd press ... dead locks ..... however, on the older is's ... the 2nd press of the lock button actually deactivates the microwave sensor !

I'm sure its something like that ............

Hi guys,

just dont know what to say...........im still so ****** off thank *** the only damage.......is to the window ;) they tryed to get the Greddy LCD and as it is fixed to the top of where the satnav should go........that all came out with it, but i think someone must of come! as it was left by the gear stick,

my alarm did not go of, ;) it works as i did a test of it.................

what could i have done to the alarm? for it not to work............press key to lock doors, press it a 2nd time to dead/lock.........should i be pressing it a 3rd time to put the alarm on ................

Hi guys i had my IS broken into last night, they tryed to get the Greddy LCD, f****king c***ts they must think the Greddy LCD is a TV,..........car is all ways parked out side the house, just about to go to bed and its 1.30am. so i do the rounds and lock up..........9 times out of 10 i would just look out the window at the car and relock the car with key fob, but last night i went out there to do it.........just as well i did ;)

Im just so ****** of right now........makes me that someone would try this

I had the day of work so did some work on the car.........the front bumper needed some TLC.

Her are some pic,s of it, but it looks like there was something in the lacquer its not to bad but it just ****** me off as JAE is this weekend comeing, but when i went to fix the bumper back on to the car the fixing point was F****ked so i had to try and make a new fixing point ;) well its on there but looks it will have to wait untill JAE is out the way.

Had some things to do to the car for JAE,"ie" front bumper needs some TLC, so of with the bumper...........worked on it good part of the day, all was going ok! untill?

i will put a post up about my moded front bumper..........

But im still HAPPY............as i have had 6,7,8 Beers to help keep me cool all day :D :D :D

Ill be leaving at around 11-12 ish to get there for 3-4 ish depending on traffic.

I'm sorry to re-opened this subject and if the mods feel that it needs to be closed, please go ahead and do so, but I feel I need to add my input and never had the chance before the original thread was closed...

I would like to highlight the post from Gord below and add my own comments...

Mark, you have tryed the bigger injectors in a supercharged is200 and failed

so i will say again, for them with supercharged is200 (with manifold/induction kit) you dont need bigger injectors.

For them just running standard supercharger set-up you will be fine after all TTE made this for the car

...Right, my car has been used for R&D and as a test bed for various products that TDi now offer for the IS200...so in this debate I have a lot of first hand knowledge and experience!

The first thing I worked on with Mark was the TDi manifold, after all the R&D I drove my car for a week with the manifold fitted, at that time I also had the TTE supercharger and induction kit. The car ran badly due to being under fuelled...this is a fact and I can confirm this because I was driving the car around!! At low acceleration/RPM's the car was ok, but if I floored it or stretched the rev's the fuelling couldn't keep up!

...so the standard fueling setup is not good enough for IS200's running a S/C, manifold and induction kit...FACT!

During this week Mark was sourcing uprated injectors as I'd agreed that I would continue working with him to get the car running right!

My car went back to TDi, the injectors were fitted and an HKS SZ ECU was used...as a result, plain and simple, the car ran great and pulled like a train!

Then the car went back and had the FCON VPro fitted...for future plans! As I explained some cold start issues were encountered so the car went back and Mark sorted them!

Basically, my car is currently on my driveway as we speak and it starts, runs and drives perfectly!!

Thoughtout working with Mark I have seen all dyno results and R&D work findings...what I have experienced is fact not my opinions!!

People are always intitled to their own opinions, but if you have no R&D or test results against the different options that are available, you can't tell someone that they are right or wrong!! TDi are one of the top Japanese car modifiers in the country and they didn't get there by doing things wrong!!

Mark and the guys at TDi have been excellent and the work they have carried out on my car has been first class, I couldn't be happier!!

...on a different note and @ Marcus and Gord, since both of you are the most negative with your thoughts on this subject, I was wondering if you have ever had any work done on your cars by TDi??

Why do you think im negative! in asking a i ask mark why he did not fit return line and FPR, and better pump at the same time as the biger Injectors.......as i know one day you will have to!, but mark tryed to make out that i did not know what i was talking about ;) and was saying it dont need one,............untill he came out and said it in his last post "Quote" sooner or later we will have to fit fuel/return and FPR..........

and no i have not had any work done at TDI, why would i go to TDI..............i asked mark for some help once, (was about my plans for Turbo setup) and he did not want to know.........,.and thats why!!

I have done 116,000 in my IS, and 16k with the Turbo, as long as you do the servicing etc. when it needs it! should be good for about 200K if not more :winky:
