Go on the sunday. Thats when the run what ya brung is. Also when we will all be there. To do 1/4 mile, you'll need a driving liscence (a must). Last year it cost £15 for 3 runs

Ad, run what ya brung is on the saturday mate................and sunday is only jap cars on the 1/4 mile £15 for 3 runs :winky: like Ad says dont forget your "liscence" and if you do want to run, soon as you get there get in the line to get your 1/4 mile ticket, or you will be there all day trying to get one

can not say the same about my IS, when i boost it i can see it go down thats what it seems like any how............. think i get about 20 mpg if im lucky

but then i do put me foot down alot, but all the time im haveing fun "i dont think about it" :D

there is no fix for it, as my one did this about 3 weeks ago, so i took it out the car and had alook to see what i could do, when looking at it the CD holders inside ,3 of them are f***k and i dont think you can replace them, so that was that new CD

i completely understand what your saying but to turbo from prolex which is the cheapest i know of is £5000 and thats not 280bhp you gotta spend a lot more to get there, also running 280 bhp your engine wont last a long time, for under 4000 you could get a supercharger kit, camcon, mainfold full exhaust system, induction and be AROUND a STANDARD £5000 turbo kit, dunno what a pully upgrade is worth but that obviously adds more bhp, and as there only a few ppl who have turbos and theres a shed load of ppl with superchargers theres no point in calling them cheap asses not digging anyone but the ***** from norway :)

OK he should not have said S/C is for cheap asses, but it is why alot on LOC have a S/C and not a Turbo as it is Cheaper..........But the point i was trying to make is that, with a Turbo you have the Base for more Power, yes i know there is alot of work to be done to get upto 280bhp, but with a S/C you can do all the work you like, and i still think you would be way off 280bhp............so then the next step would be to sell the S/C and get a Turbo, BUT if you got the Turbo in the first place, you would make a saveing in the long-run.

LOLOL hes getting a turbo from prolex so he thinks hes the muts nuts but if he doesnt get internals hes gonna have same power as supercharger, and hes a bit of a prick as ive been watching all hes posts. hes forgetting that half the ppl on here have got superchargers lol

@ Ellz, whats the most you can get out of the IS before internals are done :winky: i will teel you if you dont know , its about 280bhp............and the only way to get that power, is from more Boost "ie" Turbo.......not supercharger, think the most that can be had from the S/C is .5 but thats only if you get a biger pully......and then you will still be way of the 280 mark

Then why has it got XSpower on it! if it did not come from there :duh: unless you got it from someone else, who got it from XS, but it is an XSpower Turbo

Thats the same as my first Turbo i got........ and from the same place! did not know at the time, but when i fitted it the Oil seals had gone

The new one i got is all so from the same place and thats a, T04, T3/T4 GT40 internals, its A/R 50

i was told at the time it was to big for the job,

How are you going to get this to fit Ad, as your turbo that you have now is B/M and the new one is for T/M, dont think this Turbo will fit in the space where your old one sits if i was you i would have gone for the internals next, not a new Turbo :winky:

The dyno sheets in the pic are from THOR racing, after I had the boost controller fitted last year. The figures are taken at the hubs on a dyno pack. Fly wheel figure calculates to around 240bhp

turn up any time you like mate, but its best to try and get there for about 6pm any later than 7pm and you be lucky to get in the car-park, then you will have to park on the road.......
