hello all i have a 1993 gs300 and im planing to fit 19'ns on her and i want it lowered cause i dont want it to look like a roller scate B) but due to 19'ns going on how low can i go i dont want it scrapeing or rubbing and i dont want it so stiff it shakes your fillings out may be alot to ask i know all so weres the best to get springs from i havent seen ay advertised ? cheers

hello this is to all gs 300 mk1 & mk2 owners im looking about finding it abit hard to find alot of parts for my gs all in one place with out haveing to go from site to site the way im thinking is bring it all togeather and make a uk web site pretty much just a mail order site for wheels etc etc not just modified products standard products aswell im going to start contacting manufacturers about products in the new year if i get enough feed back about it and looks all good im going to go ahead with it and give it ago i want to have products like springs for the gs's that dont cost the earth and lists of people in the uk that deal with lexus's it might work it might not im sure its worth ago id like to get into product testing aswell , as it would be a small business it would have small over heads etc etc so smaller profits needed with means cheaper prices all good for us gs owners dont u think so ? if any one can give some help full info on this kind of thing i would be most greatfull cheers . :D

havent had a look asa of yet cant find addy lol will do when i got the time though i was thinking more along the lines of a stainless power flow system as for the money £270 quid for the rears joined at the end of the back boxes is a good price and you can choose sound and style and still have a life time warrranty with it

hey all as some of you allready know im knew to the lexus sceen and i just want to know what my car is worth im no way in this world selling her just out of intrest it is a 1993 gs 300 89,000 miles on the clock some service history but engine has been well looked after a few marks on her minor ones leather is in great condition i have looked on auto trader and they seem to be abit all over the shop some at 3k others at 4.5k that are l reg what ya recon then ?

i know the supra swap would cot alot but i have heard alot of stories about tdi not saying there bad but for one instance some guy had nos fitted at a cost of 2.5k then some one els had the same thing fitted for under 1k only took a day took tdi 2 weeks any way enought about them to mod a car is all down to how deep your pockets go any way no matter who u use gd luck hope you get ya power

hiya with respect to tdi not being funney but the looked to be abit priceyu and i have heard they are exspencive aswell i duno ??? try takeing the engine out and gettin a 600 bhp supra engine fitted :D now that would be diffrent lol B)

hello if you want a 0-60 car get some thing els rather than a lex dont think there built for that maybe a lex sourer tt but none of thr rest either that or get ya wallet out and turbo it or nos it .

like tony said its all about what class you fall into im only 21 and i drive a lex people may look at me and call me a boy racer if im up town on a sunday night or may think im a drug dealer cause im in a lex lol im none of the obove i just love me lex and if i up town on a sunday night im pimping it not raceing it lol oh and for sure the worst has to be the idiots in saxo's i was in a 1990 h reg honda accord 2.0 auto and i raced a vts off the lights and beat him all i could hear was him on the limiter in 1st so funney due the way he was looking at me granddad car at the lights you should have seen his face at the next set i said not bad for an auto pmsl :P :duh:

hello if you dont have any luck i found a mk1 gs at cleave motor salvage in glos it had fire damage but it was in the air so i dont know whats left in side worth a try .

yes you are all right they are off the corolla stuff gettin them things from halfords id rather keep my normal ones lol ill see what i can do got a mate that works at toyota well i think he still does lol ill keep you posted .

my mate spotted a car that looks like it has the same side repeater design and i had a look last night and they are spot on the same all i have to do now is get my hands on a set and try em for fit ment will keep you posted as i havent been able to find any if all works out any body want a set for there 300 ?

sorry to hear about your situation mate sounds abit messy i would demand that the garage put every thing right how can a garage sell a car with 4 bent wheels if this is true and with them miles on why would all that stuff need doing i have a 89,000 miles l reg 3oo and all i got was an advisory on front ball joint i wouldnt bother trying to get new lex style rims u will get more for your money with after market stuff good luck with it hope you sort it all out .

i changed my sub for a rockfordfosgate 12 inch it made alot of diffrence to the sound as a hole it does need amping up though the one i got is classed as a free air or ported box 70 quid it cost and sloted straight in my gs 300 would recomend gettin an amp and box for miles better sound you can have special boxes made that are tiny allso

well its true i thought why spend what upto 2k on 20's or some thing like that when peeps wont see em lol when i have me 19'ns on ill be going slow just to show em off bling bling !

my old man brought a brand new set of alloys for his car and he had them balanced so many times and had every thing checked etc etc couldnt get rid of wobble it turned out to be bad casting of the alloy might wana get it sorted so u can take em back if this is the case

i get 140 miles ish on 20 quid on a motor way at 80mph .

why worrie about speed when you will have to go slow so ya can pimp the lex so every one can see it might as well get 16'ns if ya gona speed by them lol
