  1. I'm looking to get my hands some front & rear wind deflectors for an IS200 Saloon. :)
  2. It's also a styling option I wish to undergo :)
  3. It really lowers the IS's reputation when you see someone destroy there car with them, they were ugly! lol
  4. So I'm going on a 700 mile road trip with a few mates in a couple of weeks, and I really really want some wind deflectors, I've had a look a round and seen mixed reviews, I also don't wanna splash out a tonne of cash on them, so could anyone recommend some? Cheers :)
  5. I've been one to one with another IS in gold, driven bye two Jamaicans who had decided to smack what looked to be 20" Lexani bling bling rims :L ...so I didn't bother :P
  6. They're all basically the same tbh, mine are unbranded and had no problems with them :)
  7. Ermmmmm I dunno what your talking about haha
  8. Then that'll explain why my MOT passed, every IS200/300 should have an auto leveling suspension unless I stand corrected
  9. Okay so what exactly does the new law state? Not sure it's of much relevance but one of my buddy's is a traffic cop here in Sussex and he's said he wouldn't pull people over for having HID's, and he knows what they look like anywhere because he's got a set on his 58 Focus. I dunno but this new law doesn't really seem legit because my MOT was in early-mid April and they saw absolutely no issue with it.
  10. I can give you some guidance since my IS is very similar to yours, and by the way I've said the same too! Defiantly wanna keep the car forever haha! Anyway, heres a short list of upgrades I've performed in relation to what you wanna do: - Headlights - New Satin Black Housing Head lights - 6000k HID Xenons Dipped - 8000k HID Xenons Fogs - Brakes - Brembo Discs, pads & calipers all round in yellow Now I will say the brakes do feel a lot better, though they are not entirely needed, they do look great! (May have change the color of them once I get new wheels) Now similar to your car mines got a black paint job, black wheels & black windows, this is how I bought the car and to be honest I'm not so keen on the all round black, it can give some people the wrong impression. It all depends on the look you wanna go for. Now personally I'd say go for the tinted windows BUT (and this is your choice) I would say balance the car out with a new set of wheels (not black) or return your current Lexus ones to standard and/or a different color, for example: I'm looking into some Gunmetal, White or Matt Bronze 18" Rota GTR's or Grid Drifts for my car as I feel this will balance the colors on my car out a little, they also look amazing! However this is all my preference and you could have a totally different outlook on what you wanna do! Here's a few pictures: Bit rainy today but took a quick snapshot of the new headlights I installed yesterday: P.S If anyone can guess the red car to the right of the first picture I'll be impressed ;)
  11. Ha you know what! This reminds me of my car ;) Good job or getting one man! Treat him/her well
  12. Hi guys, so I've been wanted to do this modication because I'm not 100% on the chrome housing: (Photoshopped) Is there anyone out there that would be willing to do this for me? I've tried once and it was a just a massive fail :(
  13. Well basically, I set the tripod up in the back and stringed it in place to the headrests so it wouldn't fly all over the place! mounted the camera and bobs your uncle :P
  14. Well that's wrong, I have hid headlights and foglights, passed mot with no issues :) not sure where you're getting your information from
  15. You could do this! I set my camera on a tripod in the back haha http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqZ-U9NVmHI
  16. I couldn't really think of a decent title for this post but I'm interested (If I'm allowed to know on here) where some of you guys are from, be awesome to meet a couple of other IS owners as well as see your cars in the flesh, grasp some inspiration if it's been played with any way etc etc, also are there any summer meets coming up that people are attending? I'm joining a couple of Jap meets located near me coming up soon, so not sure if others are likely to be there?!
  17. Yeah in that area after, when they re-visit that place it's just there on the floor :O
  18. Yeah, what the title says, did anyone else notice the IS200/300 Dash trim just laying about when they panned the shot across that area where the yellow 458 was? I went with a few friends and two of us spotted it. Random I know but pretty cool :L When the films out on DVD i'll get a screen cap!
  19. Well this is what I have on the front: Sidelights - 6 SMD White Dipped - 6000k Xenons with Ballasts Main - Box standard Halogens Indicators - Never touched or replaced Fogs - 8000k Xenons with Ballasts I didn't replace any bulbs because I didn't need to, I was only replacing the housing because my old ones were tacky, worn and scratched to F&$*!! The lights are straight from Toyota! So they are genuine OEM quality :) I've been told it's the relay, doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the bulbs because they all work fine, the indicators all work normal on unlock.lock and when hazards are switched on.
  20. I didn't change any of the bulbs, just the actual headlight housing unit on both sides! Neither do I, but what I don't get is hazards on, unlocking/locking the car all work fine, just the indicators on separately it don't like :(
  21. Whats funny is when I drive by myself the cars a breeze, but when I've got to give my mum (Sorry mum) a lift somewhere performance drops dramatically, feels like my mates 97 Clio :L
  22. I'd recommend a 30mm White SMD bulb, you can get them off eBay for pennys and it really does make a difference inside the car, especially if you lose something down the sides of the seat!
