    I am sure it is just me but I have had the same letter. I understood that if the parking brake was set to automatic mode it would only set when put into 'Park'. If not in automatic mode why would it be expected to set in any other gear.

    I purchased a spacesaver wheel and tyre from the main dealer and the cost was £147. I bought a cover seperately from a company on ebay. There is a jack and wheel nut brace in the car and of course the locking wheel nut key. Jacking points are there I have used them.

    I do not attempt all the complex systems that others are having issues with however I thought I would report that at my first service last week the software was up graded to version VC03102F. The only real problem I was having was losing the favourites on the telephone - that appears to have been resolved . Hope this helps others

    The speed camera warnings cannot be turned off however Lexus say that the map data for those European countries where this is not legal e.g. France does not contain the camera location information and so this is not an issue when driving there.

    Many thanks for the idea but I cannot see 'speed cameras' in the list of POI's in the sat nav menu

    Thanks for this but it is not mentioned in the sat nav manual and the local dealership have so far not found a solution

    How can I turn off the speed camera audible (beep beep) warning on my Lexus IS 300H ?
