This is not working on my 2008 lexus is220d. Doors still closed. Do you have any other tips :-( Appreciate

Hi there, I just got an is220d from 2008 and only the driver door is opening regardless I tryed literally everything from the forum or lexus manual. I just watched the video above and and excited I was confident this it'll finally sort my problem but didn't. Standing outside saw on my central dash (after holding for @10seconds open&close buttons) ...the car with all doors open but when I tryed ..darn, still close! Maybe it works only to latest lexus as the one in video I believe its 2013 2014 ?? Anybody else?

...or an ipod connector in a glove box. The wire mite be hidden behind the door acces for aircabin filter. Previous owner could stack behind it maybe was no use to him. Worth a try.

I'm not a pro in all this car...thinks but I can tell you this: Don't waste your money on Hanckok or all other china-korea or vietnam tyres!! Its only like 20 £-30 £ difference between those and good ones ad known Goodyear or Michelin or Bridgestone. Not many ppl's know the difference aside money its the length and time you brake for example at 60km/hour we talk around 8-12meters difference !!!.. depending on weather also. If you google it you will see how serious is this "tyres buying think"! Hope I could help and help to take a right decision. You know, direction and breaks are the 2 most important things at any car so think twice when you decide to go for cheaper tyres, especially now, when winter and wet muddy times are just around the corner.

Can anyone light me up? I see set of discs p Catalin us brake pads on ebay.co.uk for around 65 £ and to replace them by myself myself it'll take@2-2.1/2hours job.Why people pay @500 £ for this job???? Thw set from ebay are fake/not genuine/spurious ?? Cheers.

Hello everyone, A couple of days ago I stopped at a petrol station to put some diesel and after I drove a few hundred meters "Check VSC" come on didplay, a big red triangle, malfunction engine sign (on the bottom left side) and TRC OFF also (on right hand side of the dashboard). Now...I had sleepless the last 48hours trying to figure out what and where...I post on this forum around 8 help messages @all very simple: ............ The diesel cap when its not close properly makes ur dashboard looks like an early Xmas tree !!!! ............. All sorted !! Next time when u get some messages on ur dashboard try to calm down and remember the last think you did before all "early Halloween" starts. ..and one more tip: the la software t think u wanna do its throw ur car in some lexus garage (unleast if its not out of warranty) u won't. They can fix it like in 5min and hold it for a couple of weeks after that, changing you with a 4k-6k. Be aware!! Good luck everyone and hope I help a few "of us" not being ripped off!! Cheers guys for ur replying so quick. Eventually bought the car 2days ago as seller found the V5 doc but I do have some power related issues and "check vsc" appear on center dashboard screen. Happened after filled up with diesel yesterday at a petrol station. Read few reviews about "C ring" ..if you dint close tight after refill u mite get some fume loss wich mite activate the "check vsc" message! Any other thoughts will be appreciated.

Today got a bit of white cloud coming out of the tail pipe (looked like steam more or less) but it smell funny to... just to make may day! Any thoughts? Cheers

Steve2006..you're so right!! I dunno what I wad thinking: I guess I've got a car with too many problems :-(. Got brand new EGR heading now to replace it. ..see after that. By the way, there's no codes but "Check VSC" and TRC light on(right hand of the dashboard) along with malfunction indicator lamp (on the bottom left hand side of the dashboard) wich according to the manual could means 3big thinks: electronic control system, elec. throttle cont.syst. or elec. automatic transmission control sys...not my case/ is220d! Any shared experience wich mite help it'll be more then welcome.

OMG guys, today I'm a new victim of those TRC & VSC lights warnings came up on to my dashboard. Read already all the comments up and down the page snd I csme to one conclusion: Absolutely terrified what it may be; have a new EGR valve wich ikl replace 2morow and prsy it'll turn off all those lights. Keep posted with any news!!!!! Up the Dubs.

"Indicates a malfunction in the TRC, VSC or hill-start assist control system"..literally stop at a garage to put diesel and after that when I started the red triangle light up along with "Malfunction indicator lamp" and VSC also !!! Even though I have the button (below the start-stop ) for switch on-off the VSC ..its not working! Help..Help..Help

Hi guys, just want to ask anyone who knows what implications has for the car, filters, engine, exhaust and so on, the use of red diesel?? I wanna buy a is220d and swiped tail pipe exhaust with two fingers and....u should see the wet muddy black stuff left on my fingers!! He(seller) then admitted on using red diesel kind of..all the time!! It is worth it to buy the car, its big or small deal ?? Please help. Never had diesel car b4. Im totally in the woods. Ty

Hi there, I wanna buy a is220d but the seller can't find the V5 doc; he says that we just need to go together at dmla and he'll register straight away on my name ..just to speed up thinks and not to wait 4-6weeks until he will receive the new V5. I know that this can means bad news for the engine!. The seller mention that he used red diesel v offen so I was thinking this mite be it !! The car drives beautifully power and all just ..looking for some' xtra advices. Apreciated up front. By the way, just sign up so take me easy, I'm a newly on this site as diesel engines also :-/
