  1. Mine didn't look like it had ever been changed , it's been serviced at various Lexus dealerships and was pure black , there's no way they get that black in ten thousand miles , I don't think dealers do what there supposed to .saying that I do deal with Lexus carlisle and any of my cars have always been done correctly but if I've bought a car from a different dealer they haven't done everything I,m sure

  2. Did it come in a two part touch up kit with a clear lacquer? I was given such a kit as part of a pack when I got the car, but haven't used it yet. Having noticed a big new bonnet chip when waxing the car last week, I might finally give it a go.

Do please let us know how it looks when you are done Steve.

Yes its a two part kit. I'll try it next weekend on a couple of chips.
I emailed Lexus carlisle on fir to order palladio silver , they emailed back it's ordered and here next tues , hopefully it's the right colour cos they never mentioned any codes ha

I found this link on the US IS-F website. It shows the whole Top Gear episode but thankfully the IS-F is on at the beginning. I think it looks and sounds awesome on this clip; bloody fast too having the same lap time as a Lotus Exige! I don't care that the M3 is quicker, it will break and cost you and arm and a leg compared to the F; no contest.

Oh and JC really is talking out of his backside about the gears - it will do what he's complaining about if you keep pressing the throttle on and off as if you're driving a clown car. Drive it normally and it's the same as all the other autos.

My point exactly mate , pleased someone has seen what the goon said , pathetic . I love my isf just my wheel locking nuts won't come off ha
The thing is the isf is a far superior car than a bmw by a very long way , it's faster which doesn't matter anyway , looking at the video of the two together I've never driven a car like that anyway has anyone on here , does anyone of you go around a corner on two wheels like mr clarkson cos every bloody car he test drives always goes on that stupid track , why I just don't know . We buy cars for the roads .

  5. The Bridgestones are not rotational so no problem to just swap them round. Did you have snow yesterday? We've decided when we're in Cumbria next week we're taking the wifes RAV, the ISF is the worst car ever in the snow!

Cheers.no just frost mate , there's snow on the hills in the lakes so your ok .i swapped the back wheels over , came to do the front ones and the drivers side locking nut is solid , I tried everything then the inside of the nut that takes the locking nut off sheared off , great now I,m goosed , GRRRR cheesed off now , I've emailed the dealer .

Some spotty nosed teenager that prob works at quickfit must have at sometime put the locking nut on with the air gun ,god there thick .

  7. to be fair mine does change gear when i don't want it to, gentle throttle increase on a motorway for example and itll drop 8 to 6 which I'm sure is the most efficient but it doesn't feel right, as the driver i didn't want it to change gear. But that's what auto boxes do, i could always use it in manual. Over time one challenge is to learn how hard you can press the go pedal and not kickdown...

When I,m just taking it easy through towns etc it never goes above 2000 revs in all gears , just purrs along lol.much better than revvin the arse off a one litre heep lol
one of my favorite saying is - thats alot of revs but not alot happening. Like when chavs are ragging it in there s**t box fart cans
Ha I know . There was a chav following me yesterday rite up my behind , I stopped and he pulled along side me and revved his heep , a corsa with a crap zaust , I just smiled and give him a real note lol my lad in the car with me just smiled at them , there faces were good to watch lol
