Does anyone know how I should go about renewing my subscription for my lexus Gold membership???

I have put the 20 "" rims on the MK II GS 300. They fitted quite easily. However due to the inner design of the rims I had to put 3mm spacers on the front wheels to stop the caliper rubbing on the inside of the rim. The tyres are 225/30/20s. There is nothing wrong with the turning circle and it looks really bad. Sorry there is no pictures as yet as it is the first time I will be putting a picture of my car on the website I want it to be really clean, sparkling and fresh so I will wait until i clean it on the wekend. I usually get looks from other people when I am driving or parked but since putting these rism on the car it has taken it to a horrific level. I think everyone shoudl put 20"s on the GS 300 it fits easily and nice and you would not notice the difference whilst driving apart form big holes in the road and the poeple looking at your car. The pictures will be worth waiting for. One of the spinners was scratched so the dealer returned it and I shoudl have that tomorrow. All the attention the car has gotten is without spinners on it, so far!!

doesn't sound like you made a bad decision then. its only MY opinion that 20" is a bit too big, and you are not buying them to make me happy :D as long as you like 'em ;) What suspension do you have mate? Would imagine 20" wheels on standard suspension would look strange - would be too high. have you lowered the car? ← I have not lowered it, but as it is Sports I am hoping the 18mm lowering at the factory is enough

UKDentonGS300 I am waiting on 20" spinners to be delivered for my MKII Sports GS300 today and I am wondering whether I made a bad decision. The choices I saw in 20s were much better than the 19s.

Has anyone fitted 20" rims on a GS 300 Sports MK II or seen it on such a GS?

I went to the launch of the new GS 300 on Thursday like many of you I expect. The dealer told me that there will be no Sports version. The new one looks very good but I know a Sports version would look even better. Is it correct that there will not be a sports version? If so does that mean that my MK II Sports GS 300 will go up in value or hold its value because it is the last of the GS 300 Sports.

I did try to get 20" spinners on mine but it would not fit. Then when i heard about the new GS 300 i decided not to do anything else to it as i want the new one. If i get the new one it will get 20 " spinners on it, quad exhausts, and tinted windows as well as teh latest clifford alarm. I need to find out whether the new one will be able to play DVD on the sat nav screen. I think the Jeep can do that.

The sport comes lowered, it has the spoiler at the bottom of the front bumper, spoiler on the boot with built in brake light, mesh grill, HID headlights, yellow front fog lights, you woiuld have to do all of that to an ordinary lexus to get it looking like the sports. My friend has the normal GS 300 and it hurts him evrytime he sees mine. I am planning for the new GS 300 and so is he and this time he is definately getting the sports. However, for me the best colour for the sports is black. Cannot beat that.

I have a GS300Sport that i may be selling next year but it wont be cheap. It is the best looking GS 300 you could buy. T reg 1999, standard 18" lexus rims, black exterior, black interior, medium tinted windows, modified exhaust tips, only and i say only 25,000 miles, full service history, rear parking sensors installed by dealer, talking cliffford concept alarm with exterior sensors, no one can get near to it without you knowing, sat nav, lowered by manufacturer, rear spoiler, black mesh grill, it also has dealer gas headlights whixh shines blue, standard yellow fog lights, will get some pictures, it is the best looking GS 300 there is. Turne head everywhere i go. People ask about it alot. Went to margate and when i came off the beach some women were posing with the car and taking pictures. That said it all.

I feel so dumb, all the time I have been watching the 5 flashes thinking that it is making my car more secure. Does the Lexus have a deadlock on the doors. I have not been able to demonstrate this, may be I have been turning that off as well. I had a deadlock on my Vauxhall Omega and always felt that my car was more secure. UKDentonGS300

I know the feeling, sense some bullxxxt was going to happen to my car recently so i had a £575 Clifford fitted with perimeter sensors. Now if anyone goes near to my car it tells them to move away. sometimes that is the price you have to pay have something your neighbours do not have.

I dont know if anyone remembers me from the Lexus meeting. I had the black sport GS 300 Mk2 with tinted windows, lexus badge on fuel flap and a serious bass line. i need to get more bass out of the booth and i have been told to take out the sub woofer on the back shelf. Does anyone know how to remove it on a Mk 2. thanks

Thanks very much for your responses. I did not notice this problem in the summer so i guess it could have been there from that time. When it started in the winter it was not bad but as of late it is getting worse although i think the problem has now peaked. Anyway i have some rubber sealant and will be stripping down the front bumper to get to the light and fix the problem. I will not be spending so much money on such a small problem. I just have to wait until the weather gets better to start this job.

I have a 1999 GS 300 and lately i have noticed that the offside small and large headlamps are becoming misty with condensation in the lamp. I contacted the dealer who said that the seal around the lamp had probably gone but they do not sell that and i would have to replace the entire light. Someone suggested that i use silicone to seal the lamps again. However, i tried to remove the lamps and realised that i owuld have to remove the front bumper as well. Has anyone else had this problem and how did they fix it????
