  1. @d3ron ebay specials 😉 £450 for the headlight. Taillights £220 @Billnick some folks have said that they aren't quite as bright as their hids but not far off. I haven't seen any comparison vids on the two either.
  2. Yeah, will do. The halogen on all 3 of the is220d I've owned have been awful, so hopefully these led units will be a big improvement.
  3. I just received my Vland led headlights this week, after having installed the Vland led taillights about 2 weeks ago. No question, these look much better IRL than many of the images suggest. I will be installing these in the next couple of weeks when I'm on leave.
  4. Now on my 3rd is220d, sold my 07 last month had to sand lenses to get oxidation off before selling and used Quixx headlight restorer. Just used the Armorall wipes a few weeks ago on my recently purchased SE-i headlights as they just starting to yellow on the top corners of the lenses, the wipes did a pretty good job, considering no sanding was needed. However the wipes are only for one application and have a tendency to dry out super quick, so work fast!! Overall decent job as my headlights look like new, time will tell for how long.
  5. @lawsio, sorry for the late reply we have a quinny speedi folding pushchair, it's not the smallest or lightest in the world but fits in the IS220 boot nicely with room to spare.
  6. Hi lawsio, Early last year I had a jet black IS220D (unfortunately it's written off now) But during that time I was starting to think that the car was a little too small for me, my wife and two kids, a 6 year old and an 18month old to fit comfortably. So after I wrote off my black IS220D (long story) I concidered replacing it with all sorts of MPV's SUV's etc for the extra space an economy they offer. However, after much deliberation guess what car I ended up buying....... yep, another IS220D this time in metalic blue slate, I really couldn't face having to potentially drive a bus around everyday. That being said IS220/IS250 as you know isn't the best vehicle to use for transporting a growing family, as there are obviously far better alternatives out there, but in reality at least for me anyway it actually works out fine as our kids are still small. Once the children have grown an extra few feet in height then maybe It would be wiser to concider opting for a slightly larger vehicle. But for now if like me you are still enjoying your IS220D, then I would suggest keeping it a while longer or at least until you really need to upsize. Hope this helps somewhat.
