  1. Hi no problem, the biggest issue for me is logging into this site and remembering the password as I sold my car some time ago. Can you email me outside of this site on chris@cpm.co
  2. If you consider yourself a petrol head you'll love it. Your neighbours on a cold start maybe not quite so much but meh
  3. Yes it takes 3 days or so and would be better if it didn't but they make them to suit each car almost as a one off. I don't think there is a pattern as such as there isn't the volume however give them the time, go to the effort and you will be rewarded
  4. Hi yes they are, i have one complete side only but you may be able to use the tips to replace your missing ones. Not sure where you are, I'm in Surrey
  5. Thanks for the suggestion of asking for a discount, Lexus Croydon knocked nearly £400 off to do the service and brakes just for asking. It will also have the 2 recalls done at the same time and as a final bonus I am dropping it off before I am out of the country for a week, so I know it will be safe too.
  6. Thanks for the thoughts, the front discs are doe for partially as they have done 46k an partially because I fitted yellow stuff pads. What annoys me is that all the local lexus dealers now seem to be "Jemca" hence I end up talking to the same chap so there is no chance of alternative quotes!
  7. I hear perfection valet are very good, they quoted me £375 if I recall
  8. Apparently there is a recall for the cooling fan as well as the fuel pipe issue mentioned elsewhere on the forum. I don't have any more details but thought this maybe helpful info, I only found out recently when getting a price for the 6 year service.
  9. Hi all Sorry I have not been on much for a while, but pleased to report the ISF with takeda and H&S is still in rude health, however..... It needs a service, the 6yr one plus front discs and pads. I have phoned my local dealer who want £963 for the brakes and £895 for the service. I tried calling around but due to centralized call centres got the same chap I had the quote from! Any suggestions gratefully received
  10. Hi Sorry not been on for ages but I have got a spare set of tips from having the H&S system installed - one is missing the top on drivers side. Let me know if they are any use to you?
  11. I looked at these too and even had an email exchange with the seller, decided against it even before going the H&S route, but can't recall exactly why
  12. Hi all, been sometime since I posted but finally got underneath today to get a picture. Still sounds great btw
  13. Last one I did was at 2/3 of max revs so around 4000 rpm I would have thought
  14. Stu have you considered most circuits have noise limits which we both may have issues with
  15. Been a busy week for my ISF a full week of commuting plus a service at lexus croydon. The exhaust has softened a touch and is imo epic. Loud at just the right times quiet on a cruise. Love the way it sounds proper old school muscle car on a cold start. service was a bit of a mission. 5 year service for £345, asked them to assist tracking as I know it's out. Service called and said can't track it as the tyre was worn. I questioned this as the alignment device goes on the wheel and the adjustment is underneath. They called back and adjusted the answer to be that they were concerned the car would pull once tracked due to the wear (btw all is fine apart from inner shoulder which is worn) I pointed out it pulls now hence I know the taking is out! Left it for them to track it. They called back again concerned that the tyre wear would cause the taking to pull out of alignment. FFS! told them to forget it, will get new tyre then get it tracked!
  16. Not good news but at least they owned up, unlike whoever knocked off my tailpipe. Never mind H&S supplied a new system. Much better imo to use it and have the odd repair than not to use it, they aren't going to be making cars like ours again anytime soon

  18. Found time today to reset ECU. Have noticed a little and I do mean little unevenness in idle so hopefully the reset and some more miles (shame) will help
  19. Think it's the same. All cats retained (mot purposes) but omitted the first silencers after the cats and reduced the size of the rears. Oh and it pops a bit on the overrun :0)
