Hi Steve, Indeed it my car.... really did hate letting it go especially for the price... but there you go ... hope you enjoy her... she will want for nothing for the next 12 months atleast ... Didnt get a chance to wipe the HDD so apologies for the nursery rhymes etc. !!! I loved the exhaust, it is loud but after a while I couldnt live with out the pops when coming off the throttle..... Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Hi there, mine has the ivory leather - not great for dogs and hence why mine is up for sale as I really dont want to ruin it ( or come back to car to find they ruined) but if you havent got dogs then I had no problems over the last few years. People say to put a car seat cover over them but really dont see the point as i love the contrast of white leather on blue... but thats me - others swear by black. As for updates - mine is an update and comes with lsd as standard and an upgraded music interface/sat nav - has dab radio, hdd to record music onto, and a sat nav system not based on a disc. The lsd maybe great but not sure I have ever pushed the car on the public roads where I knew the lsd made a difference. .

Just to be clear the one at 21k is a press car and the one with a chequered history/ condition.... where as the one at 28k is mine and has nothing wrong with condition wise.

I looked at this 18 months ago when i was looking for mine... back then it had not had the 60,000 miles lexus service , no brakes changed and thus I figured tyres needed doing - in the end not a lot of change from £3000-£4000 and who knows what else.

I think that looks good ! May I ask how much and ease of fitting etc...?

How much have they quoted for 6yr /60k service? Mines due so curious if worth coming to Guildford for the service... Great looking car tho. Nice weather for it too !

Now thats a proper response.... and glad to hear its just not me. I appreciate the rules and the non sale policy for non gold members but really didnt enjoy being censored or even monitored in repsect to discussing if my post was okay. As said yesterday this same thread was removed by Mike for no real reason except for him believing the post was inflammatory - so found that annoying to say least. Either way still trying to justify keeping the car as a sunday car , buy the wife a load lugger and me run about the dog can chew to bits. Problem with the car is I find it too damn good !

LOL.... I think thats a bit harsh and wont comment to much... previous posts do seem to be good enough /' grown up' for the last 12 months... Either way if I am grown up enough to own, run and drive a 5ltr V8 then pretty sure Im grown up to post to the likes of you !

Wanted to see if anyone else had discussions/ topics removed because a moderator has decided it unsuitable and if so what were the reasons? Quick update... Getting slowly used to it....love the growl but still unsure of the motorway speed the drone of the exhaust isnt relaxing after an hour or so.... Had the the system fitted on wednesday and its is monumental..... If i am honest I dont know if I can live with it ! Its soo aggressive and the noise at low speed is a bit excessive for me... So there will be an embarrassing call tomorrow to H&S to see if anything they can do to drop the noise levels below 2500rpm./generally. Anyone else had this issue or is it just me ! Had mine for 2 years now and the seats still look good. Bit more wear and tear on the drivers seat but gets cleaned with Meguiars leather cleaner & conditioner every six months and comes up a treat. Doesn't really mark from blue jeans etc. I wouldn't let the fact that it's white put you off, doesn't really require a lot of maintenance. hi dave, think i have an identical car and wanted to know the Meguiars product you use is it seperate cleaner and conditioner or is it the all in one Meguiars product? I dont think panel filters add anything at all. But could be wrong . Takeda intake was my first mod also , next is the apex throttle control for approx 150 and should improve the throttle response no end im told and seems great value. Finally hope to get an HS exhaust for 1200 next year and thats it for me !! Changing headers for a couple grand and 30bhp just doesnt seem worth it too me but who knows in future.... :-) Sent from my iPad using Lexus OC

Apparently theres quite a few bhp gains from it. I went for the takeda intake which personally prefer as the sound is less of a roar and most of the stock air box is kept. Dont know if its worth the 350 quid or so for the KN but if you like the sound then fair enough, was abit too loud for me and wanted as little as change from stock as possible. I was able to fit mine myself where as the kn was a little more involved ... For a numbnuts like me i wanted it as simpleto do otherwise would have to pay someone to do it. Im in between jct 6 and jct 7 of the M25. Problem with the meet is that April12th is my sons first birthday and the wife is adamant Im not going anywhere !! So maybe a bit tricky but im hoping the paternity test comes negative.....lol.. Shell kill me if she reads this ! Definately want to come to a meet.. Want to hear an h&s exhaust and see a apex throttle controller. My problem is finding someone i can trust to install the apex controller and also looking at a k&n typhoon cold air kit but again cant find an installer who i see has fitted it , so was hoping to speak to some owners to see who they used to fit. I had the same question six months ago when i changed from my gs450h ! I was told simply if it has the blue insert on steering wheel and dab radio it was updated model with mech lsd. Simples ;-) But be interested to know how you find the change from gs as it has taken me time to adjust...i even tried enquiring on here how to get the responsiveness of gs at low speed and ability to just put foot down and go like the gs does but alas found its a different type of power deelivery in the isf and cant really get more torque low down the rev range which isnt a bad thing just you got to really use the full rev range, have sport mode on and use the gearbox fully to keep it responsive - and the rewards are definate if you do! But if you dont and your just relaxing and pootling about then its a bit oafish and lumbersome with in normal mode in auto. Sounds great tho.... Hope you find one and enjoy. I love mine and think its well worth getting the updated model ... For more than just the lsd...the media interface as a whole is sharper in updated models with full postcode sat nav, hdd and dab radio. Sent from my iPad using Lexus OC

Many thanks all, some usefull points.... But.... Think i may have somehow given the impression I was debating a comparison between the Gs450h and ISF , which i was not doing . Was after ways of increasing the low end torque or repositioning the torque curve for increasing the responsiveness in town / lower speeds. Cheers for the tips .... Sent from my iPad using Lexus OC

Hi all been six weeks with the car now and enjoying it but my only real major concern/ adjustment is that I want to find a way of making the power band more usefull --- its so high up the rev range as well as the torque I find lacking, so dont really go anywhere unless Im above 5000rpm and then the redline is quick and unless you keep the power on,it drops off too easily. If you can keep the power on its absolutely great but my roads are rarely clear enough to allow me to do so.... Coming from a Gs450h - the hybrid and 300bhp from engine meant i was always able to put my foot down at any point and go..... And the is f doesnt do that at all. No regrets tho. So does anyone recommend how i can get more low down torque ??... Sent from my iPad using Lexus OC

Im sure youll love it..... Ive had mine two months now and still love just turning it on let alone the the second to third shift on full throttle ! And back down the blip too.....just awsome! I had the same reasoning and opted for a diff model with 16k on it....the dealer threw in the extended warranty to 3yrs and bacs him without seeing it ! No regrets so far and sure you wont either!
