I got some of these and after awhile of being on the car I found that the key seized and I had to drill the plastic flap to get access to the Allen screw. It happened on both bars so not a fluke. Still great bars though, have come in handy on more than one occasion.

My old 08 400h SR were HID.

Just checked on Lexus Parts direct and the fronts are £88 and the rears are £66 so ab bit cheaper. I had to spray mine silver as they came in black.

PF jones who supplied my bar only offer bars for cars up to 2016 so it look like you are correct.

The 450h camera is a step up from the 400h camera performance wise, but the LED reversing light mod for the 400h does vastly improve visibility.

I got a Westphalia detachable from PF Jones and they fitted it on my drive, I think no matter which you buy you will have to cut the bottom of the bumper (undertray). There is a dedicated wiring loom with a bypass unit which is required. All the work is done in the boot. I've added pics of the loom and location. As far as I know there is no break-in connector in the rear of the car. Westphalia is the Lexus OEM fitting.

Try eBay and if not the PF Jones, they supply Westfalia bars.

I'm very surprised it's bottoming out. I towed a 1700 Kg twin axle van with my 400h and the rear springs coped fine. My 450h has air suspension so self compensates.

That's pricey for a piece of plastic trim.

It's a stupid bit of chromed tin that covers the top of the bulb, you can remove it with a cross head screwdriver.

I had a 2008 400h SR for 5 years and towed a 1700kg caravan with no problems. 28 to 32 mpg not towing and 18 to 20 when towing.

I did the arms on my 400h and did not take the engine out. I raised it on a jack as far as it would go and it was a struggle but I did manage to do it. There is one bolt on one of the engine mounts that is a sod to remove as it's so long, It screwed into the transmission housing by about 30 mm, very excessive in my opinion. Got the arms and ball joints of eBay for a reasonable price. 

I just get the cheapest supermarket concentrate and then dilute it myself.

Try PF Jones, they do the Westfalia detachable for £370 + electrics, not the cheapest bar they do but it's what Lexus fit as standard. They have a fitting service too and will do it at your home. Look for the ones which say "self levelling", they are for air suspension.

Halfords light board assumes that you have a towbar fitted and the socket mentioned is the trailer socket. No towbar no socket, so you will need a wiring kit.

Those two brackets are tie-down points or for towing other vehicles and when my towbar was fitted were removed and discarded as the towbar has these as part of its frame. So it looks like you don't have a bar fitted. I got mine from PF Jones and they fitted it on my drive at half the cost of a Lexus one. The one I got were made by Westfallia which I think is also fitted by Lexus.

Should be a hole in the rear undercover and a socket for the detachable tow bar and also a socket that swings down for the electrics.

Have a look on the door pillars, on UK models there is a table with the VIN and the axle weights and all up train weight.

I just use two cross bars that clamp onto the roof rails.

I've found that the Yuasa YBX3068 is compatible with the Panasonic OEM fitted Battery. The Panasonic Battery is fitted with a vent to the underside of the car, the Yuasa also has a side vent.

When I had my 400h, I had the cam-belt done at Lexus /Bolton, was about £550 fixed price.
