Had my Blue F sport NX 2 and a bit years now....lokking round for what's next (I'm a company car driver doing just 20k per annum). Like the Jag F-Pace but the NX for me best value for money - so am thinking it's going to be another one mid 2018 for another Yorkshirenan !

Well tried tethering off on my phone...no joy !

It's the link to sat nav I found useful (it worked for my S5) ie I could email my eta to people.

I was trying to get the dealer to assist me by saying this. I love the car....thanks for the tethering idea...I thinks it's turned on on my phone so going to switch off. I do lots of miles and the auto reply to texts and emails is something I really want to get working but dealer seems lost !

Hi. I have a NX300 F Sport. But my biggest bug bear and it really irks me is that my samsung S7 whilst connecting on blue tooth the system will not pick up incoming texts or emails. Just had 30k service and said this stupid thing "could" put me off buying another next year to the dealer. He said the technology on S7 was too sophisticated for Lexus software (Bull if ever I heard it). Other people with Range Rovers. Audi. BMW's Jags with same phone all messaging connects...anybody any ideas as this really annoys me. PS I have premium nav system.

Me too 34.6 and I've had a 4 bike roof rack on for last 3 months - making no difference on mpg

Fully laden up to Northumberland and I'm at 33mpg after my mysterious drop to 27mpg over the winter on premium unleaded !!

Sorry to go off thread- Samsung solution (I had exactly same issues and it's taken me hours to sort - Dealer couldn't ) On your phone settings set it to keep emails for up to 2 weeks only (I had 5000 stored on phone) get rid of all unnecessary text messages and then set Lexus system to default settings - that should do the trick. The problem (to me) seemed to be that the Lexus system was unable to cope with the amount of data I had on my phone. Good luck !

Samsung S5 - had loads of problems initially that a Lexus couldn't fathom (very long story).

I've got Premium Nav system. Go to telephone CLICK messages and then in bottom right of screen will be a box saying quick messages - there are 15 pre set that you can use to reply to texts or email whilst on the move - or you can set your own message - very handy

Yeah I too suddenly find my self on watch the mog gauge (not that it's important to me in all honesty). Still only at 31 after dropping to 27 from 37 when I filled up with super ?? New trick discovered today - if you have destination in sat Nav you can text a quick message from Lexus preset messages to say the wife and it gives your exact eta....cool ! Only issue I have there though is it only displays numbers on screen so you kind of have to know the number your texting back - thought it would display as named contact as it picks all contacts up when you jump in the car.

I would say there was a bit of a cold snap - would that make a 10mpg difference ? Driving style did not change and reading taken from computer (not old school I'm afraid). Filled up again the other day (using standard) and average went up to 33 after a couple of days. I'm not bothered either way but will just stick to standard from now on.

So how about this one... I thought I would fill up last time with super unleaded (I always use Sainsburys) and see how things went mpg wise. I have averaged on standard unleaded around 37mpg on town and motorway journeys (all driven in standard mode). So I fill up with super and my mpg drops to 27 and has styed like that throughout the tank ??? Back to the normal stuff for me from now on !

A work colleague and I changed at the same time (August) he went for the new XE Jag and I went for the NX300 F Sport.......guess who's the jealous one ! :-)

Just filled up with 'super' for the first time and the mpg has gone down ? Over first 80 miles - going to see how it goes but I reckon it won't make a difference. I was with the dealer yesterday and said various threads on this forum mentioned mpg and that it wasn't as stated in the UK "sales" bumf. He said the 56 / 59 it quotes was a "Government" figure and to view the Lexus American website for a true mpg figure - which as we all know is about 36 / 38.

HI all Thought I'd reply on this topic rather than start a new thread. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the phone works really well via blue tooth and I can also make it a wifi hot spot and gain access to street view on my Prem Nav system (NX300 F Sport - 3 months old). Now the problem (that it's just been in to the dealer with......and they cannot sort). I cannot view my texts or e-mails - when I click "messages" the system freezes and then goes blank / reboots itself and the screen icons have all moved around. Now the issue I have had is that for about 2 weeks everything was working fine (not from new took about a month before it finally worked) and now it just will not work. Anybody else having issues / have you resolved as the dealer is stuck and has said all he can do is contact Lexus Technical

3 months now with my NX300 F-Sport. Still love it - even with my I.T. problems I'm still having :-( Used to switch to pure EV mode but doesn't seem to make any difference (MPG 37 roughly) Next test I suppose is a full tank on sport and see what I get then....anybody done that ?

I'm still a little lost - have e-mailed mobile fun to ask them what I need. But I thought all I need is some form of new case that has some form of charging strip in it that I can then just place on the Qi charger in the car (no wires ???). And then when at home just plug in as normal ? Anybody got a specific link to guide me on what I require - Samsung S5 is phone.

Well still not seen one - it's a nice feeling :-) I'm just wondering if anybody else out there has the wireless charge facility - I've got a Samsung S5 phone and it appears not to be compatible - anybody advice on what bit of kit I need to buy to make it work ?

Oh no !! After 2 x months delightful ownership today was the day that it happened....... Yes my unique Ultra Blue F Sport that I've driven round in with looks of pure envy from some German car drivers (erm I was one of them) was today matched at Leicester Forest East (Northbound) by it's twin pulling up behind me at the pumps ! A quick chat with it's owner "damn your the first identical one I've seen" was followed with - The car is fantastic and a total joy. We both set off with smiles on our faces - watch this space for how long until I see another one !

I actually like the hmmmmm in normal drive mode I know you can turn it down I just don't get why have ev mode when you can (if you don't like) turn off the hmmmmm ?

So reading this guys can I assume that on my F-Sport I don't actually need to turn the dial and put it into ev mode as the only difference I can ever see is in ev mode you don't get the engine hummm throught the speakers ?
