  1. Hi

Has anyone replaced there spark plugs yet?

I've heard on the US forum that they're a pain to change?

I'm on 62K and my dealer said they need changing yet on the US forum they reckon it's 100K.

    Confusing.

  2. My CT isn't as bad as previously stated. Can't feel bumps whilst driving. It's on 17,s with Goodyear F1,s which are a bit noisey but because the car is so quiet inside it just highlights road noise more. It's the only thing you can hear. The Goodyears aren't exactly a quiet tyre anyway. The CT isn't the worst Lexus. Economy is excellent. Mine is in Artic Pearl and is an SE L Premier so no extras missing on it. Very pleased with it.

Take a test drive of one and decide for yourself. Good luck with your search [emoji4]

  3. It is a straight swap and you can use your original fog lights too. It's costly though but does make the pre FL look more fresher. I've been reading about this on the US site. I'd like to do it to mine also but I think I'll be looking on eBay for any later ones breaking. The 2014> F Sport has the better Spindle grille but the finished look is awesome.

  4. Hi all i,m new to the Lexus world.I ,ve had my CT SE L Premier for just over a week now.One thing i find strange is that the fuel gauge drops very quickly.Last week i brimmed it (didn,t reset trip though). When it got down to just a little over quarter full i brimmed it again. It only took 24 litres!

I know it has a 45 litre tank so some how this gauge is really inaccurate. Also as said it drops very quickly. Is this normal?

My driiving style isn,t hard and fast.I,m mostly in Normal mode and do alot of P & G where possible.Normally gives me an instant reading of 53mpg on my 9 mile trip to work and back.

Appreciate any help and Hello from a newbie.

  5. I rarely use ECO mode and stay in normal mode. When i use Sport mode its for overtaking, motorway etc.I found using ECO used to cripple the mpg as more throttle is required as stated previously.Short journeys in the cold will have a big impact on mpg.Roll on the warmer weather.
