Hi, I bought a Jap import LS400 98.... no in car phone though.. Does anyone know what is involved? Is it easy enough to connect up my normal cell phone or does it have to be a Lexus install. Thanks Phil

Oops , new at this... sent my message to JMRussell... Again... I also have ls400 98 MK1V (jap import) with same problem. Jumps from stop , have to be quite gentle with the accelerator else she surges... just to let you know I'm in the same boat.

Hi all, I have a import ls400 1999 and is fitted with Jap sat nav.... can anyone point me or advise how i can convert and is it only firmware or cd that needs to be replaced or is it hardware issues? Alo heard of a fix for the radio... any pointers please hanks in advance Phil

Hi everyone, I also have a jap import to the uk 1999 ls400... Where can I get this band extender? Also I heard that the Jap cars are speed limited to 180km/hr, is this true and if so is it possible to dis-able? My sat nav also has Japanese pushbuttons... any idea if I can change or buy English ones? Is the sat nav soley a question of the CD or is it incompatibility with UK satalites? Any help appreciated. Hi Grand Alf, If the inputs require RGB + Sync and your cam only has comp out, then maybe the system accepts comp vid on green input, some rgb devices will strip sync off the green input and use green for video in. Good luck Phil

Hi, Jimbo.. I have seen a guy offering to refurb the time clocks lcd on ls400's. Go to ebay.com and search lexus... He claims approx 300 dollars. Trust this helps Phil
