    Absolutely love it mate!

The car looks awesome and as you say, the stock suspension ain’t great. Have Tein springs on the front on mine and even they are night and day versus stock.

looking forward to seeing the car in person at the Derby dooooooo!

    :tomcat:

Cheers mate yes I'm looking forward to it, should have fathomed out the perfect settings by then.

  2. Thanks paul, yes I must have been there over an hour chatting about cars Im seriously thinking about getting a gt86 as a another toy to add to my list they had a nice selection there, he was on about the ISF he used to own said he was trying to evolve parts for the car but there wasn't enough interest, shame really as the stuff he was showing me that they'd developed was top notch would be interesting to see what could have been done.

  3. After owning my ISF for a while now I've never really been happy with the suspension especially on long distances and cornering at speed, I was dedicated to go with the ohlins setup but after a few recommendations of teins I did a bit of research and decided to go with the flex z with edfc active pro and GPS which basically means I can control the damping rates manually on the control panel or set it up via GPS which allows whatever preferences you prefer such as stiffening up during acceleration and loosening when travelling at a slower rate.

I've ran a lot of different suspension setups in the past on various different performance vehicles but I've always considered tein to be a bit of a cheap option however on first impressions I'm blown away by the response when changing damping rates its instant, the GPS setup is amazing you can feel the car gradually tighten up as you accelerate it corners superb I'm only two days into setting it up but I'm already over the moon with how it's transformed the ride.

Had a nice three hour test drive home from fensport on Saturday using b roads all the way, was also great to meet Adrian who owns fensport a top guy with a lot of nice machinery knocking about not to mention a lot of knowledge about motors I'll definitely be using their services again.

I guess that friend was Noby with his sleeper rocket ship Accord which "pushes from the rear"... that explains all!

@FTBBCVoodoo Never driven Integra and to be honest don't even want to try. As far as your statement goes "one specific Integra was better then one specific S2000" - it might well be true, but that would be more of an exception then a rule. Certainly, even most basic FWD family car nowadays handles better then say American muscle... so what? I understand that some very light FWD track cars with very sticky tyres in the front can handle very well, but that is not applicable to street cars.

As I said, for me RWD balance is important, I fell more comfortable with progressive oversteer, then with any sort of understeer... it is more fun, it looks better, it feels better and that is how the car should behave in the corner.

Mate get a job writing for a car mag your more than qualified !

Not sure if 320d drivers needs permission to speak here....

I will make bold statement here and I am sure that is going to be massive explosion of insulted "snowflakes" - if driver doesn't feel the need for RWD, they they do not enjoy driving and they cannot qualify to call themselves petrolheads..

I'm going to have to invent a new meme for this so here goes " do you even drive"?

  6. Had a good read up on these and the edfc active pro it sounds like a great bit of kit I like the idea of being able to instantly change the damping levels  in car and how you can program it to change when you reach certain speeds I think this will be a winner on the ISF so cheers for the link much appreciated!

Thanks Wayne, that's a huge compliment I will happily take that. Combination of PPE headers, H&S exhaust and the Rotrex supercharger. :thumbup1:

In other exciting news, RR-Racing are looking at a bigger supercharger unit due to be released by Rotrex next month. Apparently this one can handle up to 900hp!

Thing is the standard high compression engine setup won't cope, so would also mean a forged engine build. Won't be cheap, but tempted to see how far we can go!

Not a problem thank you for treating my ears. 900bhp!!! That I've got to see and save for 😁.I've just had an exhaust fitted with valvetronic and ordered the rr racing intake and tune so im excited to see the difference it makes. How's the car running now we're in summer?
