  1. As I've mentioned elsewhere I am looking at selling our IS300h and buying an NX300h

Being lower to the ground and me getting on a bit, I find getting in and out of the IS an ordeal at times. It also lacks a lot of the bells and whistles we have on our Yaris.

Such as rear view camera, Android Auto and various other bits and pieces.  We are looking at an NX from around 2020-21, and will be buying from a Lexus dealership.

Other than the big VED increase,  probable insurance hike, as well as security issues, is there anything to look out for when going around the forecourt  ?

I understand fuel economy to be in the mid to high 40's per gallon, what do others get ?  I'm pretty light on the loud pedal and am getting (an indicated) 52mpg from our IS.

It would depend on the grade and if it had expensive paint or some other option that took it over the threshold.

I assume the  price for VED purposes includes VAT.  So if you want anything other than Black, you go over the £40k threshhold.  What happens if it comes just under the threshhold

    Hi all

Considering a used NX300h, 2018- facelift. We like the Ash White seats in our recently bought used UX300e, but looking at used stock can only see cream, red or black leather for the NX.

Does anyone know if a whiter leather was ever offered in later years? I can see the Sport model could be had with white dash inserts and bolsters. Am I missing any other trim levels with white please? Listing photos can be misleading and make cream look white, so it’s hard to tell without the original MY brochures.

    Thanks for any advice

I'm in a similar situation. I presently have the IS300h with off white interior, and am looking at getting a 2020-21  NX300h.  Like you I notice most have black interiors.  I'm not interested in a sports version, or anything other than an NX300h.

  4. We presently have the IS300h, which we have been more than happy with, in just over four years, the only thing that failed was a spark plug. Later this year we are looking at a replacement, something from around 2020.  I initially looked at the NX, but now have been looking at the ES300h, as it is only fractionally bigger than our IS, so will still fit in our garage.  From the various videos I have watched it seems a very nice car, and comes with a lot of bells and whistles.  I'd like to hear people's experiences of ownership.

  5. We are looking at possibly changing our car this year (2023).

We've had our  IS300h coming up to 5 years and will be 8 yrs old this year. There's nothing wrong with it (touch wood), but we'd like a change.

I want something with a more few bells and whistles, like reversing camera and auto folding mirrors, as well as Android Auto, which our Yaris has.

I'd like something about three years old, so have been looking at the NX 300h.  What sort of MPG do people get from theirs, and do they recommend

them ? We'd get another IS, but they no longer seem to be available, not with the specs I want anyway.

Thanks for replies. I've never bothered to check to see if the filter is replaced when serviced, (I'm on a service contract) ,

but it looks like it is.  I might take it out for a look anyway.

I took it out and found it was like new, so it may have been changed at the last service. I don't do many miles in it.

It came out much easier than the filter in my Yaris.
