What wheels/tire size are you running? I am having rubbing issues with stock 18s 235/55/18 instead of 50, because of the horrible road conditions where I live I need a bit more height... I have some issues when making sharp manouvers at slow speed, I think I hear some rubbing, its a whinny rubber noise.. I wonder if you experience anything similar from a lowered ride?

Or do I have to use some other method? So since they used the term flashing, I assume everything is done via software so I wonder if it is a real flash where I have ot get a copy of a Euro version to do onto the car or is it changing some options on tech stream which I am pretty sure I can figure out. Either way I would appreciate the help from someone who is very familiar with tech stream so I can prepare myself before hand. THANKS

Dont people sell pirated techstream like the dealer uses? I was reading bout cables and apparently there are different versions I need to read up about it... I wonder if it can be used to change my car to metric.... but that is another topic. THANKS I shall check it out.

that is for newer vehicles no? I do not remember seeing any vehicle settings in my car

yeah it is the same one I read about however I do not see the light blinking 4 times to confirm but i will go test it at my car later to see if it worked.

I wont be going to a stealership here I would buy the oil myself from some place and go to a reputable 3rd party to get it done.

on the subject of oils since we are all in europe brands and availability will be similar vs me posting in the US forums. I can probably get Mobil1 0W20 there is also Liqui Molly which is available here in Ukraine. What other non toyota synthetics are you guys using? Anyone using aftermarket filters the US forums AMSOIL EA Oil Filters EA15K49, but that is a pain to get here in Europe .... any suggestions?

So I was in Budapest this past weekend (I shall not get into detail about how much I dislike that pseudo western country) but when I drove in I just rolled down all my windows at customs to avoid any issues and when I drove there I just DGAF and no one ever stopped me LOL so good news there. I will post updates for shixx and giggles when I go through other parts of the EU.

Hi guys. Short Intro: I'm Canadian and I live in Ukraine. New to Lexus, new to this size of car, previous cars Acura TL, Mazda 3, Infiniti G35X. Question: I will be driving into the EU and will be doing so rather frequently. I was told that foreign cars with modifications that do not comply with EU standards would not be allowed in, is this true? i.e front window tints, I was told that if my tints are too dark, I would not be allowed in or the police might stop me etc. Is windshield tint/polarized film legal in the EU?
