R.I.P!!.........................but high powered sports car?? to anees these papers have to blame something the norm is young drivers or young drivers speeding!!
Too True mate. :(
-
Sorry I cant help Anees, but a few people on the ST Drivers forum I now use have had the same problem with the F1's
Good luck
Its such a shame because the ride quality on the Goodyears is really nice and I have them on a Honda S2000 and they are amazing. What tyres did people on the ST Drives forum go for then Paul?
-
RIP...........
But that newspaper article I am not impressed with; can't they concentrate on the human tragedy rather then the car and speed :(
-
Because they are the Ultmate Driving Machine - they are bult to just drive! :P :P
Seriously however - the thing that really annoys me is that I don't even have one cup holder in mine :(
That stops drinking and driving
Is it sad to say in public that I find cup holders exciting? :P
Maybe that should be my latest mod but I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a measly cup holder!

The ideal applicant should be capable of working to the very highest quality standards, be flexible within the working environment, have a good team attitude, be highly motivated and looking for a long term position.
Sounds like they are describing YOU Chris! :D
I'd apply - they do offer relocation too....
PS
Is it normal for Technicians to have to supply their own tools?

Hi guys,
This is a long shot but LOC has never failed to amaze me before so I live in hope.
I have a problem with my daily driver (BMW 330D).
Info is here:
http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/forum/ind...?showtopic=4185
Basically the crux of the matter is that Tony Bones thinks my issues are all down to the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric tyres I have just bought all round for the BMW; which I bought based on the reviews and the fact that they seem to be the best tyres on the market.
To test the theory that my tyres are to blame I need to borrow a set of alloys with ok tyres so that I can swap over my wheels/tyres and see if they fix the issue.
I have tried on a BMW forum I am a member of but nothing so far....... hence I thought I may as well give LOC a go.
I do actually have a friend with a BMW 330D (used to be Gord's old car) but he is away for a few weeks and he has lent his car to his brother in London so abit stuck!!
Ideally I would need 18" BMW wheels, but I think I should be able to get away with 17" wheels as long as they clear the brakes.
Any help appreciated.

Yep.......that doesn't sound normal :o

Looking Good :D
Like the colour!
Can I borrow your wheels...........?

I also know you collected 26 superchargers because you wouldn't stop moaning how heavy they were, if I recall correctly! :P :P

Right, so if I am following this arguement:
Gord and Steve from Charlesworth are part of Prolex-UK because they lent you money after you asked for it???
Were they given any shares in the company to show they are part of it? They may have invested on a single deal but that in my eyes does not make them part of the company.
In my business when I first started up, money was tight and I had to borrow money from friends and family to help me get stock and for some working capital - the people I borrowed from never for one second were seen to be part of my company and everyone was paid back (and more!) without them having to ask to receive their money.
I'm sorry Dave, but as an outsider your arguement doesn't really hold water.
If due to their one-off financial involvement with you the advice offered by Gord and Steve changed to push and promote Prolex-uk products then you might have an argument that they are part of the company and hence your promotion helps them make profit but I know for a fact they are both as impartial as ever and have always encouraged me and others to shop around for the best deal and have publicially criticised some Prolex-uk products on many occasions which they have seen as poor value for money or just a bad product; this would not be done if they had any involvement in Prolex.
The FACT Gord mentioned earlier in this thread about selling the first batch of superchargers you got at a reduced price (£1750 or something like that) I can confirm is true because I remember him telling me at the time (back in Dec 2007) how he was trying to persuade you to sell them at a cheap price to LOC members so that Steve and himself get there investment back in your company as soon as possible and the members benefit where as you wanted to stick at a higher price to maximise profit.
It was also wrong to post Gord's bank details on a public forum :(

Looking good Chris.
Love the illuminated Skyline logo! :D

I am happy for you to pay me for work experience..........

Hi mate,
What network technologies did you actually get any hands-on experience with while at uni?
Are you looking for a full time position or is it just to tide you over until you find something better. :)

Off the topic but are Charlseworth a decent garage for carrying out this type of work.
I want mine doing by them, but they have a blown up black is sat in the garage (last month) and yours is the second with probles!
Thanks
I can only based that on what I have seen and had done myself - the garage is superb and Steve (owner) is one of the very best mechanics/engineers I have ever come across. He doesn't give a car back to a customer unless he is 100% happy with it and I doubt very much if this latest failure can be put down to Charlesworth Motors in any way. If there is any issue that I would suspect it lies with Noble Motorsport, based on a few stories I have heard from Aristo owners, who do the mapping but lets see what happens first before jumping to conclusions :)

Your new IS200 is looking great Imi - just as hot as the old one :) The wheels do set it off nicely.
How come you've decided to come back to Lexus? Didn't you have an Audi after your last Lexus? :D

Agree with everyone elses sentiments - Wozza and Rabster are great members and can't have done anything so bad that a ban or suspension is justified. :o
-
O well just have to park in car park then :D
Will have to spank the japs another time
Weren't you parked on the LOC Club Stand at JAE in your German Lexus?
I am interested but will probably be in a Honda Lexus.

Hmm.....
I had Vredestein Ultra Sessantas on the Aristo in 18" Tyre size and they were great and it sounds like they would be a good bet in this case too. I did have Falkens previously but I just don't like the virtually non-existant rim protector.
Cheers for the info Paul :)
