  1. I'm 21 ..... 22 next month .. I'm paying £880 FULL COMP with DIRECT LINE for my 2001 IS200 SE I've got 2 years NCB! ... and did previously have 5 points :-) (now clean) i'd say ... confused.com is the best place to try though ! Ta !
  2. Car with mileage discrepency ? .... I saw a Lexus like tha once, on South London, and the guy tried telling me that there wasn't anything wrong with it ............ wooohooo ! lol ... I paid the extra £££ and just went to a Lexus Dealer, though I live in London, I ended up buying my car from Leicester ! .. paid bit more, but came with all the dealer gurantee's ! Don't buy it! .... you'll regret it.
  3. DL being Direct Line, that's who I'm with, i've always found them helpfull, do you actually live anywhere near the A12 ? I added you to my MSN list, but i don't c u online!
  4. To be honest, I don't think they would want to take away your NCB, I just think it's dome :tsktsk: trying to make a cheap claim, and you happened to be the victim. Who is your INS company ?
  5. Steve, In reply to your questions mate, I have some Legal information for you. (don't ask me how i know, that would be telling what i do for a living! lol) Right, under the Road Traffic ACT 1968, a person who is involved in a road Traffic Accident MUST - 1) STOP 2) Exchange details, (registration plate and name of driver is only required by law) if it was a PI (personal injury) accident, then insurance certificate would also have to be shown. 3) Any third party witnesses must be obtained Soooo , that means that either one of you would have to have failed to comply with that. So, techincally he would have had to ring "999" and tell the police that a vehicle had "failed to stop" that vehicle being yours, so if there is also no evidence that he rang 999 or even went into a police station to report a vehicle failing to stop, that would only heighten suspicion of the claim. All I can advise that you do, is tell your insuance company to ask the other driver to fully describe you as a driver, and what you was wearing, andy words exchanged, and also ask to see a copy of the original note, as to where he wrote down your vehicle registration number, if you did fail to stop! right ... that's enuff, .... contact me if u need any more! Ta!
  6. IS200 - never too young! i'm 21, and have a LEX. I love it, anyone who thinks otherwise, are those who probably can't afford one, and are jeeeeeelous! :-) Ta !
